How do I refer a friend to be a GrabCar driver?
Please refer to the “Refer and Earn” portion in the Driver App, and use your referral code to invite drivers in,
Please ask them to sign up through http://my.grabcar.com/signup and select a briefing session. The location will be emailed to them. Remember to ask them to include you as a referral. For more information on our referral scheme, click here.
How can I find out more about the weekly incentives and payment cycles?
Updates on incentive schemes will be sent out to all drivers via SMS, email or in-app message on a weekly basis. You’ll even receive a recap on your performance to help you keep track of how many trips you’ve completed within the week, while cash out typically occurs on a weekly basis.
What if I have concerns about safety?
We cover all our drivers and passengers with insurance for every ride and GrabCar prioritizes the safety of all our passengers and drivers so rest assured that the GrabCar team will do its level best to assist you at all times.

What is the criteria for becoming a GrabCar driver?
You will need to have a Malaysian IC with a valid (full) driving license, and have to be between the age of 21 to 70 in order to qualify. Your car also needs to be in a good condition, preferably 6 years or newer. Check if your car is eligible here.

What is the status of my application?
Following the announcement of the Movement Control Order, we would like to inform you that there will be a slight delay in the processing time for your application.
Additionally, please refrain from going to GDC as well as any government institutions (IM, JPJ) as they are not operating.
Rest assured, we are still in the process of bringing you through once we clear this period of restricted movement.
