Yes. You still need to purchase E-hailing Insurance as it is required by regulations. You can either opt-in to Grab Daily E-hailing Insurance or purchase your own Annual E-hailing Insurance.

This is expected. If you already have annual e-hailing insurance, the Grab Daily E-hailing Insurance is expected to say “Inactive”

  • The benefits of Personal Accident Plus are payable in addition to any other insurance
    benefits to which you may be entitled, except for Accident Medical Expenses (which is on a
    reimbursement basis).
  • In the event you become entitled to a refund of all or part of such expenses from any other sources, we will only be liable for the excess of the amount recoverable from such other
    source.

Yes, Personal Accident Plus provides 24 hours worldwide coverage.

You are covered at all times, whether you’re driving or not.

We offer you the flexibility to choose a plan to cover your spouse and family. You only need
to provide your own details, even if you are purchasing for your spouse and family.

No, the coverage will not be valid anymore if you are no longer a Grab driver-partner.

No, it does not provide cover for expenses arising due to illnesses.

A pre-existing medical condition refers to any condition that you have knowledge of and
where you have received or is receiving treatment, for which medical advice, diagnosis, care
and treatment was recommended prior to or at the effective date of cover.

You can go to My Policies and click on View Policy and you will find the next deduction date
on top of your policy.

All claim notification must be sent to Chubb Claims within 30 days after the occurrence of
the loss.

Yes, you can change your policies if you have bought them via the GrabInsure Platform.

For claims, please ensure to complete a claim form and attach:

(a) Death certificate/post-mortem report/pathology report
(b) Original medical report/bills/receipts
(c) Diagnostic/laboratory/imaging reports
(d) Any reports that have been obtained from the police or other relevant authorities
(e) Any other documents or evidence that may be required by Chubb

It takes about 14 days upon receipt of full and completed documentation.

You will receive your payment by electronic fund transfer.

This Policy does not cover any Benefit arising directly or indirectly out of:

  • Self-inflicted injury, suicide or, criminal or illegal act
  • Driving while intoxicated
  • Professional/motor sports
  • War (whether declared or not), invasion, civil war, riot, civil commotion
  • Engaging in aviation other than as a fare-paying passenger
  • Engaging (on duty) in naval, military and/or air force, fireman, law enforcement services or operations, other than ‘rukun tetangga’ or community policy
  • Pre-existing medical conditions
  • Illness and diseases
  • Mosquito and insect bites
  • Venereal disease, congenital conditions
  • Pregnancy, childbirth, miscarriage or abortion
  • Acupuncture treatment

5.
