Depending on your vehicle type all our partners are required to use our gear sets when delivering with GrabFood. These include our GrabFood branded shirts, thermal halal bag, and thermal delivery backpack/sling bag.
Yes. With effect from 31 October 2019, GrabFood Delivery-Partner applicants will have to purchase the GrabFood gear package in order to be activated as a GrabFood Delivery-Partner.

ONLY applicants who want to use a Motorbike to deliver, require valid commercial insurance in order to become a GrabFood/GrabExpress Delivery Partner. Commercial Insurance needs to state that it is covered for food/parcel delivery. In addition, the delivery partner needs to ensure that the insurance is valid at all times.
You can decide how much or how little you want to work. Simply log into the GrabFood Driver app and deliver at a time of your choice as you do not need to book sessions in advance!

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.
As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.
Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
