Now that you know how to earn points,
let’s talk about how to use them

Look inside your Grab app now to see what you have to look forward to.

And last but not least, here’s the best part...

Your points won’t expire!

As long as you complete one (1) points-earning transaction* a month, the validity of all your points extends by 6 months

I.e. If you make a transaction on 10 Jan, your points expiry date is 31 July — six months
from the month of your last transaction.

If you perform another transaction a month later on 28 Feb, your points expiry period is
shifted by one month to 31 Aug.

We’ll continue to update the GrabRewards programme to make it relevant to you so check back here occasionally to see how we’re making your everyday transactions, rewarding.

You can earn 0.5% back in points when you pay for rides and deliveries with your GrabPay Wallet and PayLater by Grab.

You can earn GrabRewards points by making transactions using your GrabPay Wallet, such as taking a Grab ride, making a GrabFood order, or paying at our merchant-partners. Choose to pay now or pay later and use these points you have earned to spend in your GrabRewards catalogue. To find the catalogue, tap on the Rewards icon on your Grab home screen.

You can also earn more points:

  • By accepting monthly GrabPay Power Up challenges
  • During Shopping booster promotions
  • By paying with GXS to enjoy 1.2X points

Yes! You are eligible to earn GrabRewards points when you use Grab services across Southeast Asia (excluding Indonesia which uses OVO points), including Grab rides, GrabFood, GrabExpress, and more. Do note that the amount of GrabRewards points you earn outside your home country will depend on the earn rate of the country you are visiting.

GrabRewards Points are only awarded if a transaction is made with your GrabPay Wallet. All you need to do is top-up your GrabPay Wallet and pay now or pay later on Grab Services, online or in-store at our merchant-partners.

Your points will not expire and will continue to accumulate as long as you make 1 Grab transaction using GrabPay Wallet or PayLater by Grab within the next 6 months of your last transaction.

GrabPay Card transactions made at eligible F&B outlets will not contribute to extension of validity of GrabRewards Points. However, GrabPay in-store, GrabPay Wallet and PayLater transactions will still contribute to the extension of validity of GrabRewards Points. For avoidance of doubt, other transactions that do not extend the validity period are: Credit/Debit Card purchases, GrabHitch, peer-to-peer GrabPay credit transfer, GrabPay Credit wallet top-up, Grab Subscription purchase or renewal, GrabRewards points redemption.

*Grab reserves the right to change the reward offers and points multiplier for payment via cash, GrabPay Credits or GrabPay (credit/debit card) without prior notice.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
