What do I need to do?

Prepare your documents

  • ACRA Business Profile* (for companies) or NRIC (for sole-proprietors) *If your name is not listed in the ACRA Business Profile, please bring along a Letter of Authorisation (signed by someone listed in the ACRA Business Profile) authorising you to sign the Grab contract, and valid national ID for our verification.
  • Copy of Singapore Food Agency (SFA) Licence with a minimum validity of 2 months
  • If applicable, your Halal or Liquor Licence Class 3A/3B/4 with a minimum validity of 3 months
  • Digital copies of your
    • Store cover photo (1:1 and 9:5 aspect ratios)
    • Menu item photos (1:1 aspect ratio)
    • Menu (for GrabFood) or catalogue (for GrabMart) in excel sheet, photo, website address, GrabFood Menu Template, or GrabMart Catalogue Template

  • What do I need to become a Grab merchant-partner?
    Please refer to the Get Started section above.
  • Can I get on Grab if I do not have an actual shopfront?
    Yes, you can as long as you have the documents listed in the Get Started section above
  • Are there any sign up fees?
    Activation Fee:
    1. You may opt to download the Grab Merchant-partner app onto your own Android device. As such, you will only incur a one-time activation fee of S$100/outlet. However, this method does not allow you to print order receipts.

    2. Merchant-partners who wish to use a Grab Order Device will incur the existing one-time activation fee of S$300/outlet. This device helps to automatically print order receipts.

    The one-time activation fee will not be required during sign-up. Instead, it will be offset against your future earnings on Grab.

    Service Fee:

    There is a service fee of 30% on all GrabFood and GrabMart orders. This is charged on every order you receive through Grab, through both delivery, and Self Pick-Up orders.

    Please note that this service fee is subject to the prevailing GST.
  • Will my outlet be automatically eligible for self pick-up?
    All our merchant-partners are able to accept Self pick-up orders from their first day, to give you access to more order opportunities.
  • When will I receive my first payment?
    Your first payment will be made within 10 working days from the first completed order date. Subsequent payments will be made within 48 hours of completed orders.

  • How do I become a GrabPay Online merchant-partner?
    Simply indicate your interest in the form and our representative will reach out to you for additional business information and documents. Once your details have been verified, our GrabPay Integration manager will bring you through the process of integrating GrabPay to your website or app.

  • When will the funds from my payments be settled to my bank account?
    Payments received will be settled to your bank account at the end of each working day.
  • What are the fees that are being charged for payments?
    For cards, our fees are: 3.4% + S$0.50 For GrabPay, our fees are: 3.3%
  • Can I deal with different currencies?
    Currently, we only support SGD. If you intend to support international currencies, do let us know via the feedback form here.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
