2 WAYS TO SIGN UP

To enable us to assist everyone as quickly as possible, we appreciate your assistance in gathering all the necessary paperwork before arriving at the sign up centre. Do not forget to submit your application online. Please kindly ensure that you have booked an appointment in advance if you have selected “Walk-in”.

NECESSARY DOCUMENTS

Please bring these with you for Walk-In Sign Up or upload them for Online Sign Up.

  • ACRA Business Profile* (for companies) or ACRA/NRIC (for sole-proprietors)
  • Copy of Singapore Food Agency (SFA) License – Minimum validity of 2 months (for F&B)
  • Copy of menu/ SKU listing (printed or website address). Download the template, fill in your information and submit it to us.
    GrabFood Menu Template (For merchants selling food & beverages for immediate consumption):
    GrabMart Catalogue Template (For merchants selling convenience, health & beauty, bread, cakes & confectionery, snacks, alcohol, ice cream, flowers, gifts, kids, or pets products):
  • If applicable: Relevant certificates like your Halal or Liquor license class 3A/3B/4 – Minimum validity of 3 months

If your name is not listed in the ACRA Business Profile, please bring along a Letter of Authorisation (signed by someone listed in the ACRA Business Profile) authorising you to sign the Grab contract and valid national ID for our verification.

REGISTRATION PROCESS

WHEN YOU ARRIVE FOR YOUR WALK-IN APPOINTMENT…

  1. You’ll be asked to provide proof of your appointment time. Please make sure you’re on time and adhere to the safe distancing markers by staying at least 1 metre away from others.
  2. When your number is called, our Grab staff will assist to complete your sign up at the counter.
  3. Once complete, you will receive a Merchant Starter Email containing:

    • Access to training video and guide – Both in English & Chinese
    • Merchant App login details – To securely access our platform
    • GrabPay QR Code – To enjoy cashless & contactless payments
    • Grab Order Device – If required

ACTIVATION AND SERVICE FEES

Activation Fee

A one-time activation fee will be charged per outlet. Rates differ based on whether you bring your own device or request for a Grab Order Device. *Do note that payment of the one-time activation fee will not be required during sign up as it will be offset against your future earnings on Grab.

1) Own Android Device: The activation fee for merchants who download the Grab merchant app onto their own Android devices is $100/outlet. However, please note that you will not be able to print out order receipts from it.

2) Grab Order Device: If you request for a Grab Order Device, the activation fee is $300/outlet. This device automatically allows you to print order receipts.

Service Fee

All GrabFood/GrabMart orders are subject to a 30% service fee. This is charged on every order you receive through Grab, for both Delivery and Self Pick-Up orders. Please note that this service fee is subject to prevailing GST rates.

Activation Fee:

1) You may opt to download the Grab merchant app onto your own Android device. As such, you will only incur a one-time activation fee of $100/outlet. However, this method does not allow you to print order receipts.

2) Merchants who wish to use a Grab Order Device will incur the existing one-time activation fee of $300/outlet. This device helps to automatically print order receipts.

The good news is that this payment of the one-time activation fee will not be required during sign up. This will be offset against your future earnings on Grab.

Service Fee:

There is a service fee of 30% on all GrabFood/GrabMart orders. This is charged on every order you receive through Grab, through both deliver and Self Pick-Up orders. Please note that this service fee is subject to prevailing GST.

All our merchants are able to accept Self Pick-Up orders from their first day, to give you access to more order opportunities.

Your menu prices should be the same as those in-store, but we understand that’s not always possible. To ease your transition to food delivery, you may factor in packaging costs of up to 50 cents. If you’re matching your pricing structure on another food delivery platform, you are allowed a markup no higher than 15% of the in-store price.

Your first payment will be made within 10 working days from the first completed order date. Subsequent payments will be made within 48 hours of completed orders.

We encourage contactless payments, especially during this period. Therefore, any merchant who uses our 3-day accelerated onboarding will be automatically signed up as a GrabPay merchant and will be eligible to accept GrabPay in-store. All your GrabPay transactions will go to your wallet so you can keep track of your earnings with just a glance.

*Do note, there is a 1% transaction fee on GrabPay transactions.
