The GrabRentals Car Ownership Scheme allows you to become proud owners of your own car. Drive away a brand new car from just affordable rates daily!
With exorbitantly priced COE premiums, car ownership schemes are fast becoming a popular choice. Enjoy the same convenience of owning a car without worrying about COE prices, insurance, road tax and more.
We designed this scheme so that the experience of buying a car is affordable and hassle-free. Simply pay a small deposit upfront, and affordable daily rates over your contract length. All you have to do is to focus on driving!
Once the ownership scheme is fulfilled, the ownership of a car will be transferred to you, and you may choose to continue driving or sell.

GrabRentals is Grab’s very own vehicle fleet. We provide car and motorbike ownership scheme for Grab-partners who want to purchase their own cars or motorbike in an affordable and hassle-free manner. We also have private-hire car rental services for Grab’s driver-partners.

Yes, we provide commercial insurance under ‘Comprehensive’ coverage and also servicing. These will be provided for free until the end of your contract where you would have fully paid for the car.
We will also pay for road tax during the contract period. It is optional to purchase Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), to help you reduce your accident excess by up to 93%.

The various contract lengths provide flexibility on how long you would like to take to fully pay for the car. Once the ownership scheme is fulfilled, the ownership of a car will be transferred to you.
This will be automatically deducted from your Grab Driver app credit wallet. The credit wallet can be topped up via the cash wallet, or DBS/POSB ATM machine & ibanking.

For a normal long term leasing scheme (1 -3 years), you do not own the car, and you will be required to return the car to the leasing company once the lease is over.
For GrabRental’s Car Ownership Scheme, you will lease a car for 5 – 7 years (depending on the contract duration you have chosen), and pay a daily rental rate over the contract duration. Once the contract is over, the ownership of a car will be fully transferred over to you.
