As this is a specialised service that comes with trained drivers and pet insurance, fares start from $14.

Additional distance refers to extra travel distance above and beyond the original booked ride. This surcharge is not applicable for pick-up or drop-offs in multi-storey carparks / buildings.
Your GrabPet driver will wait for you for up to 5 minutes at the pick-up location. If you need more time, please communicate to your driver via in-app messaging. After 5 minutes, additional waiting fee will be charged at $3 per 5 mins block that your driver is waiting for you.
You may cancel for free within 5 minutes of getting a GrabPet driver.
A $4 cancellation fee will apply if you cancel after 5 minutes of getting a driver OR if your driver cancels your ride after waiting longer than 5 minutes for you at the pick-up point. Read more here.
Why does it cost more than a normal Grab ride?
As this is a specialised on-demand service, a premium will be included in the fare. GrabPet rides come with added insurance for all pets onboard, and a fur-friendly seat cover for your pet. Driver partners have also received training in transporting your pet in the best and most comfortable way possible.
What types of animals are allowed on GrabPet?
All household pets approved by the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore are allowed on GrabPet (except birds). All pets must be accompanied by human passengers. Pets with parasites and/or fleas are strictly not allowed. The pet(s) MUST follow the requirement below for the ride.

How many pet(s) can I bring?
How many passenger(s) can ride with the pet(s)?
A maximum of two passengers can ride with the pet(s), and it would be up to the discretion of the GrabPet driver-partner to allow extra passengers.
Is there insurance coverage for the pet(s) onboard?
Yes, additional insurance coverage for the pet(s) is automatically included in every GrabPet ride.
Are the driver-partners trained on pet-handling? What have they been trained on?
All GrabPet driver-partners have completed an in-classroom training conducted by an experienced AVA-accredited trainer, and are required to pass a pet-handling exam. Driver-partners are trained to handle different types of pet(s) during the ride, read basic body language of pet(s), and ensure safety if the pet(s) behaviour becomes an issue.
Who is responsible for loading and unloading the pet(s)?
Passengers are fully responsible of loading and unloading the pet(s). It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure their pet(s) does not cause concern or risk to the driver-partner at all times during the ride. Driver-partners may choose to cancel the ride if the pet(s) displays aggressive behaviour.
Passengers who require driver-partner’s assistance in handling the pet(s) are expected to inform our driver-partners in advance. It would be up to the discretion of the driver-partner whether they opt to render assistance.
What if my pet(s) makes a mess in the car?
If your pet(s) soils the car, driver-partners will have to send their cars for cleaning and will not be able to continue driving, which affects their earnings. As per our usual Grab policy, Passengers should offer to pay the driver-partner a fee for cleaning services. We recommend exchanging contact details with the driver-partner, then proceeding to make direct arrangements for the cleaning fee payment.
Can I bring pet(s) on non-GrabPet rides such as JustGrab or GrabCar?
No, passengers should not bring pet(s) on non-GrabPet rides, and in this scenario driver-partners have the right to cancel the booking. This policy is to ensure everyone’s safety, as only pets riding on GrabPet are insured.
Can I bring pet(s) if my pet(s) has parasites, ticks or fleas?
No, pet(s) with parasites, ticks or fleas are not allowed on GrabPet, as they may cause an infestation in the car.
Can I bring my child on a GrabPet ride?
It is possible to bring your child on a GrabPet ride (max one), provided that the following requirements are met:
Babies: If you are bringing an infant/baby, a car seat or capsule must be provided by the passenger, as per our usual GrabCar requirements.
Children: Singapore law requires that children below the height of 1.35m must be secured with an appropriate restraint device while riding in private hire vehicles.
If you do not have your own booster seat, please advise the driver in the ‘Notes’ section upon booking that you have a child with you. If the Driver has a booster seat available they will be able to accept the ride, otherwise they may decline the ride.
Please be aware that there will be an additional $2 surcharge (not included in the fare shown on the Grab app) for the booster seat, if provided by the driver.
