1. General Servicing Every 10,00km

Regular checks on your vehicle will contribute greatly to safer, trouble free and more pleasurable driving. To put your mind at ease, all vehicles rented under GrabRentals come with a free maintenance and servicing package included. As a general rule of thumb, at GrabRentals, we have a standard practice of providing our Hirer-Partners regular car servicing every 10,000km mileage or every six months, whichever comes first.

In the course of this routine maintenance, our skilled technicians perform essential tasks like oil changes and inspecting for any leaks. To make your experience with us as smooth as possible, we note down the upcoming servicing mileage on a decal inside each vehicle, ensuring you’re always aware of when the next servicing is needed. Simply book an appointment with your authorised servicing workshop and keep your car in tip-top condition!

2. Major Car Checks Periodically

If any issues with the vehicle’s performance arise, we will conduct a thorough inspection and carry out essential repairs. These repairs cover critical components such as brakes, suspensions, and steering, among others. Recognizing the long hours you spend on the road, your safety and schedule are our utmost priorities. These inspections and repairs ensure that our cars maintain their safety, reliability, and readiness, allowing you to drive with confidence.

3. Fleet Wide Periodic Compression Test For Engine Health Every 100km

In the case of our older vehicles with over 500,000km mileage, we conduct regular compression tests to verify the engine’s health. If any issues are detected, we take additional steps, such as applying additives, until the next scheduled general servicing. At that point, we perform another test to assess the car’s condition. If the issue persists, we will undertake a comprehensive engine overhaul at no cost to you. Usually, a compression test isn’t part of the standard servicing or repair offerings at many workshops. However, at GrabRentals, we go the extra mile and include it as a preventive step to guarantee that our older models continue to fulfil their intended purpose for you.

4. Replacement Car Policy

In case of a breakdown, we’ve established a Replacement Car Policy for breakdowns extending beyond 6 hours*. However, if a replacement vehicle is not available, we will provide you with  rental reimbursements as the next course of action to assist you as we understand the difficulties that extended breakdowns can pose, particularly for PHV drivers like yourself.

5. Freshly Washed Cars & Pre-Checkout Checks

Our dedication to offering you a trustworthy and well-maintained vehicle means that before our Hirer-Partners pick up their car at Grab@Tampines, each vehicle undergoes a fresh wash, ensuring a clean and pristine appearance. Additionally, we perform a thorough pre-checkout inspection together with you to guarantee the car is in perfect condition without any problems. 

To enhance your experience even further, we provide all Hirer-Partners with a digital checkout form, conveniently stored on your phone to minimise the risk of misplacement. Moreover, for your convenience, an informative car decal containing essential contacts, including workshop information, is also provided.
