AsiaMalls signs partnership with Grab to extend GrabPay services and benefits to mall tenants and shoppers

  • Partnership signifies a collective effort to move towards a cashless society and support Singapore’s Smart Nation vision

30 November 2018, Singapore – Leading mall operator AsiaMalls Management and Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading Offline-to-online (O2O) platform, today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish GrabPay as the preferred payment service provider across AsiaMalls’ network of six heartland shopping malls island wide beginning January 2019. AsiaMalls and Grab will also explore opportunities to drive a more in-depth collaboration on both loyalty programmes to enhance synergy and bring more value to shoppers.

This tie-up is set to offer customers across Hougang Mall, Liang Court, Tiong Bahru Plaza, White Sands, Tampines 1 and Century Square a convenient cashless payment option and introduce exciting privileges, perks and rewards from as early as Chinese New Year next year that will enhance their shopping experience with AsiaMalls.

Each mall within the AsiaMalls portfolio offers a unique proposition. This partnership is expected to extend GrabPay’s reach and leverage its innovation to enhance the shopping experience of AsiaMalls shoppers through special GrabRewards and AMperkz benefits. AMPerkz is AsiaMalls’ attractive rewards programme that allows shoppers to earn points and redeem attractive member benefits such as shopping vouchers and carpark redemptions. GrabRewards is Grab’s loyalty programme that rewards users for their everyday transactions.
