Transport Emerald Circle

From 1 April, Emerald Circle XP points will be calculated based on trips completed instead of commissions contributed. This is so that we standardise the same calculation method across all driver-partner programmes, to make it easier for you to keep track.

The infographic below shows the new qualifying XP points for each tier (not applicable to GrabHitch). This will be in effect from 1 April 2023.

*Qualifying points for each tier will be reviewed on a quarterly basis.

Pro-tip: Accelerate your XP points by taking more GrabShare BETA rides! (Each completed ride with 2 bookings count as 2 trips completed)

To find out more about the bonus XP points, please refer to the FAQ below.

Thank you for the continued support.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
