How do the wallets work?

Link your GrabPay Wallet

  1. Download the Grab Consumer app and create an account with the same number you use in your Driver App


  2. Tap on 'Payments'

  3. Tap on 'Activate Your Wallets'

  4. Enter in your details
    *Ensure you use the same phone number for both apps

  5. Top-up your GrabPay Wallet with your Credit/Debit Card


Top up your Cash Wallet

  1. Tap on ‘Wallet’ on your Driver App


  2. Click on your ‘Cash Wallet’

  3. Click on ‘top-up’

  4. Enter the amount you would like to top-up

  5. Tap ‘top-up’ to proceed and confirm

Tansfer funds from your Cash Wallet

  1. Tap on ‘Wallet’ on your Driver App

  2. Click on your ‘Cash Wallet’


  3. Click on ‘Transfer’


  4. Select ‘Bank Account’ or ‘GrabPay Wallet’ depending where you would like to transfer your funds


  5. Enter the amount you would like to transfer


  6. Tap ‘Transfer’ to proceed and confirm


Top up your GrabPay Wallet

  1. Tap on ‘Wallet’ on your Driver App

  2. Click on ‘GrabPay Wallet’ select 'Top Up'

  3. You will be redirected to the Grab consumer App

  4. Enter the amount on you would like to top up

  5. Tap Top up to proceed and confirm

FAQs

You can get a GrabPay Wallet by downloading the Grab consumer app. Please remember to login to the Grab consumer app with the same phone number you used for your Grab driver app. Next, make sure you update your Grab driver app to ensure you can link your GrabPay Wallet with your Cash Wallet.

Please use the same mobile number for both your consumer and driver apps to ensure that your wallets are linked. Without linking the two, your wallets will reflect different amounts on both the apps. Refer to the instructions in the links below to update your mobile number on either the Driver or Consumer App.

We’ve removed Credit Wallet to streamline your Driver Wallet experience. Now, Cash Wallet and GrabPay Wallet are all you need. If you have an existing Credit Wallet, don’t worry — we’ll transfer any outstanding balance to your Cash Wallet before removing it.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
