What is the ‘Bubble Tea Club’? 

The Bubble Tea Club is a monthly subscription plan that offers exclusive vouchers that can be redeemed at some of your favourite bubble tea brands! You can enjoy 5 x $3 vouchers to redeem at any of the participating GrabPay bubble tea merchant oulets.

 

How does the plan work?

Purchase the Bubble Tea Club plan and receive a set of 5 x $3 off vouchers in your ‘My Rewards’ page within 15 minutes of a successful purchase. Then simply redeem your vouchers any participating merchant outlet listed on grab.com/sg/BubbleTeaClub.

 

Who can subscribe to the Bubble Tea Club?

This plan is open to all Grab users in Singapore! 

 

How do I subscribe to the Bubble Tea Club?

Open your Grab app and look for ‘Bubble Tea Plans’ under Subscriptions. Upon a successful subscription, you will receive a set of $5 x $3 off vouchers that you will be able to redeem at participating merchant outlets. 

 

Where can I use the Bubble Tea Club? / Where can I redeem my ‘$3 off’ vouchers?

You can start redeeming them at 4 participating brands in Singapore: LiHO Tea, Gong Cha, iTEA, Woobbee.

Because a true boba lover would have too many favourites to choose from, we’ll be expanding the list of partner merchants to offer exclusive discounts and access to even more bubble tea.

Do note that individual merchant T&Cs apply:

  • Not valid for the following drinks at Woobbee: Ice Blended, Fruit Juice. 
  • Not valid at the following LiHO Tea outlets: Yew Tee Point, Paya Lebar MRT, Jubilee Square, Burlington Square, Sembawang Shopping Centre, Tampines MRT, The Cathay, Haji Lane and United Square
  • Not valid at the following Gong Cha outlets: Takashimaya, NUS, SMU, Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Changi General Hospital, Mapletree Business City and SUTD
  • Not valid for Self Order Kiosks at iTEA.

 

Can I use my vouchers for GrabFood delivery orders?

Currently, the vouchers can only be redeemed in-store at participating merchant outlets and cannot be used on GrabFood delivery orders.

 

When can I use the Bubble Tea Club? / What is the validity period of the vouchers?

You will be able to use the vouchers for a period of 1 month from your date of subscription. After which, your subscription plan will renew automatically and you will receive a new set of vouchers for the new month.

 

Will I earn GrabRewards points with the Bubble Tea Club?

Points will not be awarded when you make payment for the Bubble Tea Club subscription itself. However, you will continue to earn GrabRewards points on all your GrabPay transactions at our merchant outlets.

How can I redeem my $3 off vouchers?

At any participating merchant outlet, scan the merchant QR code for payment as per normal. Key in the full price of your purchase and apply your $3 voucher by tapping on ‘Add Promo’. Present the payment screen with the voucher applied to the merchant outlet staff for confirmation before swiping to complete your transaction.

Do note that you are limited to one voucher redemption per transaction. Payment must be made via GrabPay only.

 

Is there a cap on the number of vouchers I can redeem?

Upon a successful subscription, you will receive a set of 5 x $3 off  vouchers that you will be able to redeem at participating merchant outlets. You can utilise all 5 of them – as long as it is within your 1-month subscription period. Do note that you are limited to one voucher redemption per transaction. 

 

When will my Bubble Tea Club subscription expire?

All plans will be auto-renewed after 1 month from your initial subscription date, and charges will be deducted from your GrabPay Credits balance on each billing date.

If you have insufficient balance, your plan will not be auto-renewed. Grab will send a top-up reminder to you 2 days before the next billing date, and your plan will be placed “On Hold” for up to 48 hours. During this time, you may top up your balance and manually renew your plan in your app. Our system will attempt another renewal at the end of this 48 hours “On Hold” status. If that fails, your plan will expire and you will need to re-subscribe to it (subject to availability).

If you do not wish to keep your plan, please remember to cancel them before your next billing date.

I purchased the Bubble Tea Club wrongly, can I get a refund?

Plans are non-refundable. If you wish to unsubscribe, remember to “Cancel Plan” before the next billing date.

 

I’ve used up all my vouchers, can I purchase another Bubble Tea Club?

The Bubble Tea Club is designed to be used over 1 calendar month. Once you have used up all your vouchers, please wait for the next billing cycle to get a new set of vouchers.

 

How can I cancel my plan?

All plans will be auto-renewed after 1 month from your initial subscription date, and charges will be deducted from your GrabPay Credits balance on each billing date. If you do not wish to keep your plan, please remember to cancel them before your next billing date.

Will Grab make changes to the Bubble Tea Club I’m currently subscribed to?

We reserve the right to make any changes to your plan at any point in time. However, prior to making any changes to your plan, users will be notified 2 months prior through in-app notification, as well as email (remember to subscribe to Grab communications to receive this).

All subscription plans are of limited availability and once they are fully subscribed, they will no longer be available on the Grab app (for subscription and re-subscription). Do ensure that you have sufficient GrabPay Credit balance before your plan’s next billing date to continue enjoying your plans.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
