A flight to catch next week? An important meeting you absolutely can’t be late for? Plan your ride with an advance JustGrab booking so you can keep your mind on the things that are truly important.
You don’t even need to keep track of your advance booking: you’ll be notified with your driver’s details when it’s time for your booked ride.

What is an advance booking on JustGrab?
Advance booking is our new service feature where passengers can book a JustGrab ride up to 7 days in advance.
How can I book a JustGrab ride in advance?
This feature will be rolled out from 9 September so stay tuned for it!
To book a ride in advance, simply open your Grab app and select ‘Transport’. Find the ‘Later’ button at the bottom component and input your desired pick-up date and time, as well as your pick-up and drop-off locations.
Why is there a pre-authorised charge on my credit/debit card when I book?
This is a temporary hold on funds on your credit or debit card or GrabPay Credits. For instance, when you make a booking using card payment, the bank will “hold” money on behalf of Grab to ensure there are enough funds to be charged at the end of the ride.

Where is this service available and how come I don’t see it across all services?
This service is currently available islandwide, with the exception of advance bookings scheduled for pick up at Changi Airport terminals. It’s only available with JustGrab for now.
How much does it cost?
Grab will quote you fare range which will include a SGD8 scheduling fee. Surge pricing may apply but Grab will guarantee you a fare that falls within the quoted fare range.
Please note that the ride is still subject to other surcharges that may apply (e.g. tolls, waiting time).
Does booking a ride in advance mean that I will be guaranteed a ride?
Grab prioritises your booking to ensure that you get a ride. Similar to regular Grab services, you will receive the driver’s details once a driver has been allocated and is on the way to pickup location.
In the unfortunate event that where we are unable to get you a ride, we will inform you in advance.
