For Admins Terms of Service
To create and use a Family Account, you agree/acknowledge that:
You accept responsibility for you and your members’ activity on your Family Account.
Subject to Clause 10:
all members added to your Family Account may request transport rides only;
you agree to pay for rides/services made by or provided to any and all member(s) of your Family Account. Where applicable, payments will be made from any sources of funds made available to Family Account by Grab (“Shared Payment”); and
all members of your Family Account will be able to see each other’s profiles.
By adding members, you represent and warrant that –
members are 18 years old or above; or
the member is between the ages of 13 and 17, and that you have the legal authority to act on the member’s behalf (“Teen Member”).
In respect of all members, you acknowledge and agree that:
when a member requests for a transport ride, you acknowledge and agree to book that transport ride on behalf of the member, which includes the payment for the Services through your account and your chosen payment method;
you, on behalf of the member, agree that Grab may contact the member directly regarding issues and incidents reported by you or others in relation to the member’s use of the Family Account;
you consent to Grab directly communicating with the member in the event of an issue or incident, and that such communication may occur by any means, including but not limited to (i) the Grab app; (ii) a phone conversation; (iii) e-mail and / or other suitable means;
you provide general consent and authority for the member to make decisions and transactions relating to any financial products and/or payment methods on the Grab app; and
you are responsible for revoking the member’s access to the Family Account by removing the member’s account from your Family Account, in the event that you no longer wish for the member to have access to your Family Account.
In respect of Teen Members only, you represent, acknowledge and agree that:
Grab is under no obligation to additionally seek consent from any other parent / guardian;
you have reviewed the Family Account Members’ Terms of Service (the “Members’ Terms of Service”) with the member, and that you agree to such Member ToS on behalf of the member.
For the purpose of the usage of and adding members to the Family Account, you represent and warrant that you have received consent or authority to share members’ personal information with Grab.
Grab’s Terms of Service and Grab Privacy Notice applies to these Family Account Terms of Service and you understand that any breach of these terms by you or any member of your Family Account may result in termination or suspension of the Family Account and/or your individual accounts.
In the event you and your members use the services in another jurisdiction, you acknowledge and agree that your acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Notice will also be considered as an acceptance to the terms and conditions and privacy notice that are relevant in that specific jurisdiction where you and your members use the services.
In the event that you remove a Teen Member from the Family Account, you understand and accept that his access to the entire Grab account will be revoked, and his Grab account will be deactivated in its entirety upon removal (including his GrabPay wallet balance, loyalty units, transaction history).
Members of your Family Account will be able to use GrabFood/Mart/Other services, but note:
payment for these services may not be made from the Family Account;
such transactions will not be visible to other members of the Family Account (including Family Account admin);
Teen Members will not be able to purchase goods and services which are prohibited by applicable local regulations.

For Members’ Terms of Service
- You accept responsibility for your activity while part of the Family Account.
- Subject to Clause 7, as a member in the Family Account, you may request transport rides only. For such transport rides, the Shared Payment method by the Family Account admin will be the default payment method.
- By joining the Family Account, you acknowledge that
you are of legal age; or
you attest that you are between the ages of 13 and 17 (“Teen Member”) and you represent and warrant that you have received your guardian/parent’s consent (if required by applicable law) to use the Grab app and participate in the Family Account.
- If you are a Teen Member, you acknowledge and agree that:
your Family Account admin has agreed to these terms and conditions on your behalf;
Grab may contact your Family Account admin regarding your use of the Services, including any issues and/or incidents reported by you, Family Account admin, or driver-partner;
Grab may contact you directly with or without your Family Account admin being present;
your Family Account admin may monitor all of your activity related to transport rides, including order, location, messaging etc;
your Family Account admin may revoke your access by removing you from the Family Account at any time. In the event your access is revoked, your Grab account will be deactivated in its entirety upon removal (including your GrabPay wallet balance, loyalty units, transaction history);
you will not be able to top up your Grab wallet via credit card or crypto currency;
Grab’s AudioProtect features will be automatically turned on for all Family Account rides you take; and
during transit, Grab Driver-partners and you will be able to message (and in some circumstances, call) each other using the Grab App. Your Family Account admin will have access to all in-app chat messages between you and our Driver-Partner.
- Grab’s Terms of Service and Grab Privacy Notice apply to these Family Account Terms of Service and you understand that any breach of these terms by you may result in termination or suspension of the Family Account and/or your individual account.
