Terms and Conditions

  • “7 Days of Giveaways” (“the Campaign”) is organised by GrabTaxi Pte Ltd and GrabCar Pte. Ltd. (“the Organisers”) and is open to all Grab users.
  • By entering the campaign, you have read, understood and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions of entry and you acknowledge and agree to be legally bound by these terms and conditions and decisions of the judges and organiser without limitation or qualification. You further agree that all decisions of the organiser shall be final and conclusive.
  • The Organisers reserves the sole and absolute right to disqualify any participant or reject participants deemed ineligible for the campaign (be it under these Terms & Conditions or has engaged in a conduct that the organiser considers inappropriate or unacceptable).
  • The Campaign will run in Singapore from 10 Dec 2020 to 16 Dec 2020. The Organisers reserve the sole and absolute right to alter or end the contest at any time, without giving prior notice or compensate in cash or in kind.
  • Winners will be notified by Grab with instructions on how to claim their prize within 30 working days via in-app communications and this campaign page https://www.grab.com/sg/seasons-givings/, along with collection details of the prizes.
  • All Prizes can be claimed in-person at Mojito Ventures daily (11 AM – 8.30 PM) at 68 Orchard Road #04-60/61, Plaza Singapura Extension, 238839 for iPhone Pro 12 & Sony PS5, except for GrabRewards points. For details, refer to your Prize rewards’ terms and conditions.
  • Should there would be shortage in stock for the prizes, the collection date of your prizes will be updated in Grab’s in-app communication.
  • All prizes should be claimed before the stated dates in your rewards’ terms and conditions. Grab will not entertain any claims after this date.
  • Winners are drawn at random. Winners will be notified by Grab with instructions on how to claim their prize. In claiming the prize, Grab may request for identification documents or further information from you to verify and check the authenticity of the prize winner, to prevent gaming and fraud.
  • Prizes must be claimed within the stipulated deadline, failing which it may be forfeited (or disposed of, or donated, all at Grab’s discretion).
  • By participating in this campaign, you hereby deemed to have consented to Grab and/or such third-party appointed by Grab for collecting and processing your personal data to give full effect to this campaign, for the express purpose of informing you of your win and/or informing the public of a winner, including but not limited to sending communication to notify of a win (in-app push notification or email), announcing your name, and/or releasing a photograph of you as the Grand Prize winner in our winner’s announcement.
  • The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute right to vary the Terms and Conditions, suspend, or cancel this campaign at any time without giving any prior notice.
  • The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute right to withdraw, amend and/or alter any part or the whole terms and conditions of this campaign at any time without giving any prior notice to the participants.
  • The Organisers decisions in any matter in relation to the campaign shall be final and conclusive. Any request for appeal and review shall not be entertained.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
