Terms & Conditions 

  • This campaign is open to selected GrabFood merchant outlets that were activated on GrabFood on or after 12 Nov 2024 only.
  • Grab will provide funding for the first 90 days after outlet activation.
  • The funding is limited to the first 20 redemptions per outlet.
  • Grab will only fund the discount value; a $0.30 marketing fee will be charged per successful order.
  • Once the Grab funding is fully utilised, the campaign will automatically convert into a merchant-funded campaign. Merchant-partners may terminate their participation at any time.
  • Any applicable fees will be deducted from the merchant’s store wallet.
  • Grab reserves the right, at their reasonable discretion, to vary, add to or delete the Promotion terms and/or terminate the Promotion at any time

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
