How and when do I get the incentive?

For all eligible drivers who achieve the target fare and active days according to their Hitch Club tier as of 30 Nov, you will receive a SMS on 16 Dec. 

$20 will be credited directly to your driver wallet by 18 Dec.

2. Achievement Badges🏅

How and when do I know I’m one of the badge winners?

All badge winners except Hitch Superheroes will receive an email on the reward collection details on 16 Dec.

For all Hitch Superheroes who have participated in our volunteering activities, you will be entitled to the $10 fuel voucher and receive it in your Grab app’s My Rewards by 18 Dec. 

How about some bragging rights?

We will be awarding the badge title in your driver profile to make known your achievements to riders and announce your names in our winner announcement. ✌

How to participate?

Join Hitch Hangout now and participate in our FB live event on 11 Dec, 10am-10:30am.

You must be an existing Hitch Club member. If you are a new driver, doing a ride will grant you free entry into Hitch Club.

  1. To determine if you are eligible for the $20 incentive:
    • Minimum active days and target fare will be determined based on your Hitch Club tier as of 30 Nov
    • Total no. of active days and fare collected will be calculated from 30 Nov – 13 Dec
  2. This incentive is only eligible for selected drivers who receive the SMS

Achievement Badges

  1. For Mr/Ms Congeniality, The QuickHitch Pro and The Most Dedicated Badges, rides computation is based on the following: 
    • Total rides calculated from 1 Jan – 13 Dec 2020
    • Do at least 1 ride during campaign period (30 Nov – 13 Dec)
    • Exclude PHV and GrabCar drivers
  2. Mr/Ms Congeniality, The QuickHitch Pro and The Most Dedicated Badges will be awarded to different winners, i.e. you cannot win 2 badges. But if you are a Hitch Superhero, you are still entitled to win one of the 3 badges.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
