GRAB TALENT SHOW TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The Grab Talent Show (the “Talent Show”) is organised by GrabTaxi Pte. Ltd.and its affiliates (“Grab”). 

By registering your participation in the Talent Show and/or submitting an entry for the Talent Show, represent that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

Talent Show Details

1. The Talent Show is open to all active Grab Driver-Partners who have completed at least one Grab booking since 18 August 2023 and have not breached the Grab Terms of Services or any Grab Policies (as set out at https://www.grab.com/sg/terms-policies/transport-delivery-logistics/) 
2. Submission of video entries begins from 19 September 2023 and will end on 2 October 2023. Entries should not be longer than 3 minutes. 
3. Entries can be submitted as an individual or as part of a group. For the group submissions, a maximum of 5 individuals can participate, and all participants in the group must satisfy the eligibility criteria in paragraph 1 above. A group entry shall be submitted by only one participant on the group’s behalf.
4. Each eligible Driver-Partner can only submit and/or participate in one entry. 
5. The Talent Show is only open to amateur performers, and professionals are not permitted to participate.
6. Prizes:

1st Prize: $2000 cash + trophy

2nd Prize: $1000 cash + trophy

3rd Prize: $500 cash + trophy

4th Prize: $200 cash

5th Prize: $100 cash

Most Popular Vote: $200 Vouchers

Submission and Competition Format

1. Entries must be submitted via Google Form.
2. Grab will shortlist 15 entries for the qualifying round, which shall take place on 16 October 2023 (the “Qualifying Round”). The Qualifying Round shall take place in person, via closed door auditions.
3. 10 participants from the Qualifying Round shall be shortlisted for the Semi-Finals which shall take place on 6 November 2023 via an in person closed door event. 
4. 5 participants (the “Finalists”) shall proceed to the Final of the Talent Show which shall take place live, during the Partner Appreciation Lunch on 29 November 2023. 
5. Shortlisted participants and winners shall be determined by Grab’s panel of judges, in their sole discretion.
6. Online voting for “Most Popular” for the Finalists will take place via Grab’s Social Media Platforms from 10 October 2023 to 20 October 2023.

Other Terms

1. Grab reserves the sole and absolute right to vary these Terms and Conditions, or amend, suspend, or cancel any part of the Talent Show at any time without giving any prior notice.
2. By submitting an entry or participating in the Talent Show, you authorise Grab to create or otherwise produce an audio, visual, digital or other recording (including but not limited to, portraits, photographs, digital images, digital video, digital audio, videotape, audiotape, or transcript as well as any related information or data thereto in still, single, multiple, moving or video format) of you (collectively, “Recordings”); and grant to Grab and its affiliates an unrestricted, sublicensable, assignable, irrevocable, perpetual, worldwide, and royalty-free license to use your name (real or fictitious), voice, image, persona, likeness, interview, testimonial, performance, presentation, biography, and any materials supplied or otherwise provided by or related to you (“Materials”) as well as the Recordings, in whole or in part, in original or modified form, alone or in conjunction with other materials or work, in all media, for any advertising or other commercial purpose and in any lawful manner as Grab deems fit. For the avoidance of doubt, such authorization and licence include without limitation the right to (i) reproduce, edit, create derivative works of, and otherwise use the Recordings and Materials (collectively, “Content”), in whole or in part, in any manner and/or in combination with any other material (where, if the Content, in whole or in part, is combined with any other material, the resultant product shall be referred to as “Works”); and (ii) publicly display or exhibit, publicly perform, promote, market, sell, rent, distribute (directly or indirectly), transmit, or broadcast the Content and Works (including but not limited to use in videos, printed brochures, websites, emails, and blog posts); worldwide at any time and in any media (whether now known or developed in the future) for the purpose of advertising or promoting the talent show, Grab or its affiliates’ services and any other marketing purposes Grab deems appropriate. 
3. You acknowledge and agree that all Works and Recordings as well as any and all intellectual property rights subsisting in the same are and shall be solely owned by Grab, who shall have the full right to exploit or otherwise use them; and that you are not entitled to receive any fee from Grab for any such use. You further perpetually waive all rights and release Grab and its affiliates from any claim, whether now known or unknown, relating to the use and exploitation of the Content and Works as well as agree to indemnify and hold harmless Grab or its affiliates from and against any actions, claims, demands, proceedings, loss, damage, liabilities, costs (including without limitation reasonable attorneys’ fees) and expenses arising out of or in connection with use of the Content or any breach of this release caused by you. 
4. You represent and warrant that: (i) you have full power and authority to grant the rights and licenses relating to the Content, and confirm that Grab or its affiliates do not and will not require any other or further approval from any third party or you to exploit or otherwise use the Content; and (ii) the Materials do not defame anyone or otherwise violate any applicable laws.
5. Entries must not contain any inappropriate content of any kind, including but not limited to content that (i) is obscene, hateful, defamatory, violent or offensive; (ii) promotes discrimination against any group or individual; (iii) contains any religious, political, or racially sensitive content; or (iv) is otherwise deemed by Grab to be inappropriate. Entries which contain content deemed inappropriate in the sole discretion of Grab, will be disqualified.
6. Grab reserves the sole and absolute right to disqualify any entry (i) which does not comply with these terms and conditions or (ii) if you or any of the participants in the entry have breached these terms and conditions or (iii) if you or any of the participants in the entry is not an amateur performer. 
7. Grab’s decisions in any matter in relation to the Talent Show or any component thereof shall be final and conclusive. Any request for appeal and review shall not be entertained.
8. Unless otherwise provided, all prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable for cash/credit in kind. Grab may, at their sole and absolute discretion, substitute any prize for another prize of similar value.
9. Grab shall not be responsible or liable for any claims of loss or damage to property or any personal injury or loss of life resulting from the Talent Show.
10. You acknowledge and consent to Grab’s collection, use, disclosure and otherwise processing of the your information and content submitted for the purpose of facilitating the conduct of the Talent Show (including holding public voting and announcement of winners on Grab’s online platforms), Grab’s promotional activities and other related purposes, without compensation, in accordance with Grab’s Privacy Notice ((https://www.grab.com/sg/terms-policies/privacy-notice/). Where the information and content submitted contains information of other individuals (e.g. friends, other driver-partners), you confirm that you have obtained their consent(where applicable), for the disclosure of their information to Grab for the above-mentioned purposes. 
11. Photography and videography will take place during the Qualifying Round, Semi-Finals and Finals. By attending the Qualifying Round, Semi-Finals and/or Finals, you grant permission to Grab to capture and use your photographs and videos for promotional and marketing activities (including publication in Grab’s internal communication and Grab’s online platforms) without compensation. 
12. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore.
