Do not contact passengers beyond the ride.

Local laws are meant to protect you and your driver. Keep these in mind for safer journeys.

As a passenger, do not ask the driver to commit traffic violations.
Buckle up, whether it is your seatbelt or helmet.

Put safety first

Safety is everyone's responsibility. Be mindful of these safety rules to have a pleasant ride.

Drive safe.

  • Don’t speed or drive recklessly

  • Stay focused on your driving

  • Take regular breaks

  • Never drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol

Do not let anyone drive
on your behalf.

Do not solicit personal or extra booking arrangements. The Grab app is designed to keep you safe and we are better able to assist you only if you accept bookings through the Grab app.

Maintain a standard of quality

Grab upholds quality metrics to ensure pleasant ride experiences for both you and your passenger.
You are encouraged to keep these in mind on your daily rides:

Maintain your
minimum driver rating.

Maintain your
acceptance rates.

Minimise
cancellation rates.

Do not engage in fraud and illegitimate behaviour

Grab takes a serious view against fraudulent activities and may suspend your account if detected.

Do not install non-official versions of the software.

Do not abuse incentive programmes.

Do not make self-bookings without actual passengers.

*Community Standards are created with the best interests of our driver-partners and passengers in mind. Not following these Community Standards may result in your account being suspended. Additionally, Grab may report any serious violations to local law enforcement agencies. Ground rules listed are not exhaustive. We will evaluate and act on all reported incidents on a case-by-case basis.
