Grab will soon launch GrabFood in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

GrabFood is a new food delivery platform for all Uber Eats restaurants, delivery-partners and customers, and the entire Grab community. Until then, it’s business as usual on the Uber Eats app.

We understand you’ll have a few questions. So we’ve prepared some answers below. Click on the section most relevant to you.

Customer FAQs

In the immediate term, nothing will change and Uber Eats operations will continue as normal. By May, we will invite you to GrabFood, Grab’s new food delivery app.

All your favourite restaurants on Uber Eats will be available in the new GrabFood app, plus we will be working hard to add even more new and exciting restaurants and food concepts.

You can expect the prices on GrabFood to remain the same as before (in Uber Eats).

You will be able to sign up with a fresh account and profile on GrabFood. Your Uber Eats order history will remain on your Uber Eats app.

Merchant-Partner FAQs

Welcome to the Grab family, we’re really excited to offer you new opportunities as a merchant partner with GrabFood. Exciting times are ahead but we know you may have questions about what this means for you, and we’ve done our best to answer them below.

In the immediate term, nothing will change and operations will continue as normal. In a few weeks we will invite you to start using the new GrabFood Merchant app. We will have already added your restaurant information to GrabFood, and will give you ample time to get up to speed on a new (super simple and easy to use) merchant app. By the end of May, we’ll ask you to delete your Uber EatsATS app and start using GrabFood.

There will not be a change in your compensation during this transition.

The Uber Eats app will stop working by May, and all merchant delivery partners will be invited to move to the new GrabFood Merchant Driver app, where orders will resume per normal.

After you are invited to the GrabFood Merchant, we will send you a welcome pack and GrabFood “how to” guide. Till then, please visit help.uber.com/partners for all help regarding Uber Eats.
