Tips to win.

Step 1 – Use the web banners on your website to let your shoppers know that they can pay with Grab. Most importantly, use them on or near to checkout.

Step 2 – Use the toolkit to promote Grab Payments to your shoppers on your social media, eDMs etc.

  1. Merchants who have accepted GrabPay at checkout for 1 calendar month (October) and achieved a minimum of $3,000 total payment volume (TPV) in October shall automatically qualify for this competition.
  2. Should any Merchant wish to opt out of this competition, please contact your account manager.
  3. The competition period runs from 1st Nov 2020 00.00 to 31st December 2020 11:59.
  4. The 6 merchants delivering greatest TPV increase will win either a Grand Prize (for the top 1 merchant) or a Grab Partner Bonus Prize (for the top 2 – 6 performing merchants). 
  5.  1 x Grand prize: $10,000 worth of GrabAds advertising. Will be awarded to the single partner who delivers the greatest uplift in TPV. 
  6. 5 x Grab Partner Bonus Prizes: $2,000 worth of GrabAds advertising. Will be awarded to the next top 5 partners who deliver the greatest uplift in TPV. 
  7. To be eligible for a prize, the winning merchants must have delivered a minimum 20% uplift in net TPV (excluding any refunds), compared to October. 
  8. The winning merchants will be informed by 31st January 2021.
  9. The GrabAds advertising will be given in the form of an image Feed Ad: Native Banner, (dimensions: Width: 1200 px, Height: 600 px or larger, max 250 kb file size). They must be used by 31st March 2021. When the winner is informed, they will be given the complete specifications and booking process will be clearly defined.
  10. The Grand Prize winner is entitled to 2 creative assets in total (ie 1 creative refresh) across entire campaign period (between Feb – March 2021). Campaign period can run for max of 60 days or when impressions run out, whichever comes sooner.
  11. Each Grab Partner Bonus Prize winner entitled to 1 creative asset across the entire campaign period (between Feb – March 2021). Campaign duration can run for a max of 14 days or when impressions run out, whichever comes sooner.
  12. Each winner must adhere to an ad set-up lead time of a minimum of 7 working days. 
  13. Merchants who are participating with Grab in other co-funded / funded campaigns will not be invited to take part.   
  14. For Merchants who accept PayLater by Grab as well as GrabPay at checkout, both payment types will count towards the qualifying TPV.  
  15. Grab reserves the sole and absolute right to alter or end this competition, without giving prior notice, or compensation in cash or in kind.
  16. Grab reserves the sole and absolute right to disqualify or reject any merchant deemed ineligible for the campaign, be it under these terms and conditions or having engaged in conduct that Grab considers inappropriate or unacceptable.

COVID-19 has dealt an unprecedented blow to the tourism industry, affecting the livelihoods of millions of workers. One of them was Komsan, an assistant chef in a luxury hotel based in the Srinakarin area.

As the number of tourists at the hotel plunged, he decided to sign up as a GrabFood delivery-partner to earn an alternative income. Soon after, the hotel ceased operations.

Komsan has viewed this change through an optimistic lens, calling it the perfect opportunity for him to embark on a fresh journey after his previous job. Aside from GrabFood deliveries, he now also picks up GrabExpress jobs. It can get tiring, having to shuttle between different locations, but Komsan finds it exciting. And mostly, he’s glad to get his income back on track.
