 Eligibility:

1. Be an active Grab Driver Partner and Win Lucky Draw (“Contest”) is a contest organised by GrabCar Sdn Bhd (“Grab”) and is open to all active New & Existing Malaysian Grab Driver-Partners (“Partners”) that are residing in Malaysia (“Territory”) subject to the following terms and conditions.
2. All Partners are required to have an active Grab Driver-Partner account in order to join the Contest.
3. The following Partners are not eligible or qualified for this contest:
   (a) Partners who have been banned and suspended;
   (b) Partners who are registered under the GrabTaxi category (one who provide e-hailing services under the Grab Platform using taxi).

Contest Period:

1. This Contest will run from 1st May 2023, 12.00am to 31st July 2023, 11.59pm – Malaysian Time GMT+8 (“Contest Period”).
2. Any Completed Trip after the Contest Period shall no longer be entitled for any entries. 
3. Grab reserves the sole and absolute right to amend, modify, discontinue or terminate the Contest Period at any time prior to the expiry of the Contest Period without giving any prior notice, and no compensation in cash or in kind shall be given. 

Participation:

1. This contest will take place on the Grab Driver App.
2. All active Partners (regardless new or existing) will be automatically opt-in in this contest. 
3. Completed Trip means when a Partner finishes a ride by dropping off the passenger at their destination (Pick-Up -> Transport -> Drop-Off), without refund or complaint lodged by passenger in respect of the trip.
4. Every Completed Trip during the Contest Period will be admitted as lucky entries, the number of entries depending on Partners’ account status and tiering as follows:

For New Partners

All new Partners that activated a Grab Driver-Partners’ account within the contest period will be rewarded with 100 free entries. Subsequently, for every Completed Trip by new Partners, they will be given an additional two entries as follows:

(e.g. Calculation for Total Entries for New Partners – Assuming 700 Completed Trip within Contest Period)

Calculation: 100 entries (upon activation) + (700 x 2 (entry for subsequent Completed Trip)) = Total 1,500 entries 

For Existing Partners

Lucky draw entries for all existing Partners with an active Grab Driver-Partners account created prior to 30th April 2023 will be computed as follows:

(e.g. Total entries for Existing Partners will be calculated on monthly basis based on Partners’ tiering status in that particular month).

For example: At the time of joining the contest, Partner is a Platinum Tier Driver. In the month of May, Partners completed 150 trips. In the month of June, Partner completed 200 trips, Partner tiering status changed to Ultimate tier. In the month of July, Partner completed 300 trips. Partner remains as an Ultimate Tier Driver.   

Calculation of total entries based on the above scenario:

May: 150 x 1.5 = 225

June: 200 x 3 = 600

July: 300 x 3 = 900

Total entries in the contest:225 + 600 + 900 = 1,725 Entries  

Winners Selection/Announcement:

1. Grab will be publishing details of top entries, i.e. Partner’s name  and number of entries, throughout the Contest Period. Partners with the greater number of total entries stand a greater chance of being selected as winner at the end of the Contest.
2. At the end of the Contest Period, winners will be randomly selected through a randomiser to win the prize.
3. The winners will be announced on Grab Drivers App landing page 30 days after the end of the Contest Period, i.e. by 30th August 2023. 
4. There will be a total of (122) one hundred twenty-two winners, and each winner is only eligible for one (1) prize.
5. Winners’ announcement may include the name, identification number, photograph, the town/region of Partners’ account, and the prize details of each prize winner.
6. All winners will be contacted and/or notified via email with instructions on how to redeem their prizes before the official announcement. Winners are required to acknowledge receipt of the email within 7 days of receipt. Failing which, winners may be disqualified, and Grab reserves the right to award the prize to another winner. (Note: winners will be contacted before the official winner announcement date)
7. Grab will not be held liable in the event the winners cannot be contacted for whatever reasons.

The Lucky Draw Prize(s):

1. The lucky draw prizes for Winners in this contest are as follows: 
   
   
2. Each Partner is only entitled to win (1) one prize only. 
3. Prizes must be claimed within (14) fourteen days from the date of winners’ announcement at the winner’s own costs (i.e. 14th September 2023). Any unclaimed prizes within the stipulated timeframe for whatsoever reason shall be forfeited.
4. Prizes must be claimed in person. Identification, which includes NRIC or licence that displays a photograph of the winner will be required during the redemption process. Grab reserves the rights to forfeit prize of any winner who does not provide the required details as stipulated in the Contest Terms and Conditions. 
5. All prizes are strictly non-returnable, non-exchangeable, non-cumulative, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
6. All prize(s) in the form of voucher must be redeemed and used by Partners within its stipulated deadline. No extensions of prize (vouchers) validity will be entertained, and no compensation will be payable if Partners are unable to utilize the prize(s) before its expiry. 
7. Winners of the prizes understand and acknowledge that Grab is not the manufacturer of the prize and has no control over the design, manufacture, or quality of the prizes. The prizes are provided ‘as is’ and without any warranty, express or implied. Grab shall not be liable for any damages or losses, whether direct or indirect, arising from the use or possession of the prize, including but not limited to any defect or malfunction of the prize. Winners agree to release, indemnify and hold harmless of Grab from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or in connection with the receipt, use or possession of the prize, regardless of whether such claims arise from the Grab’s negligence, breach of contract or any other cause of action. 

General Terms and Conditions:

1. By participating in this Contest, Partners acknowledged, understood and consent to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 
2. Grab reserves the sole and absolute right to withdraw, amend, vary and/or alter any part of the terms and conditions in relation to this Contest, including but not limited to substitute the prizes with other prizes of equal value, at any time without giving any prior notice to the Partners, and Partners agree to be bound by those changes.
3. Grab reserves the rights, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any Partners’ participation in the contest without cause and without notice, in particular if: –

a) Partners is not an eligible or qualified Partners;

b) Partners fails to fulfill all or any of the Terms & Conditions stipulated herein;

c) Partners has engaged in a conduct that Grab considers inappropriate or unacceptable;

d) Partners has breach any Terms & Conditions or other rules and regulations of the Contest or violates any applicable laws or regulations; and

e) any other reasons Grab deems fit at Grab’s sole discretion 

4. Partners agreed that the terms and conditions herein shall prevail over any inconsistent terms, conditions, provisions or representations contained in any other promotional or advertising materials for the Contest. In the event of any inconsistency, conflict, ambiguity or discrepancy between the English version and any other languages’ version of these terms and conditions, the English version shall prevail at all times.
5. Grab shall have the exclusive rights to use, modify, publish or display materials information submitted by Partners, including but not limited to, the names, photographs, town or region of the Partners in any way it deems fit for marketing, advertising, publicity purposes and for any other reason whatsoever without any further notice to the Partners and the Partners shall not claim ownership or any payments or compensation on the materials.
6. Grab’s decisions on all matters relating to the Contest shall be final and binding and no further correspondence or attempt to dispute such decision would be entertained.
7. Grab shall not be liable for any claims by the Partners or third-party claims or losses of any nature, including but not limited to, loss of profits, punitive, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages or for other damages and any related claims of any nature, including direct, indirect, third-party, or other damages resulting from or in connection with this Contest.
8. The terms and conditions of any prize awarded in the form of a voucher shall be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the voucher. In the event of any conflict between the terms and conditions of this Agreement and those of the voucher, the terms and conditions of the voucher shall prevail. 
9. By participating in the Contest, Partners consent to Grab’s collection, use, disclosure and otherwise processing of Partners personal data to facilitate the conduct of the Contest (including notifying the winners, announcing the winners on Grab’s online platforms, delivery/collection of prizes) and for advertising, promotional, marketing and/or other related purposes without compensation, in accordance with applicable privacy laws and Grab’s Privacy Notice (https://www.grab.com/my/terms-policies/privacy-notice/).
10. Partners agree that Partners shall not question the decisions of Grab without limitations or qualification and in case of any disputes directly or indirectly arising from the Contest, all decisions of Grab shall be final and conclusive.
11. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysia courts.
