As a driver-partner, you may be spending a lot of time waiting for bookings in your area. GrabCar Saver provides driver-partners with the opportunity to potentially receive bookings consistently because more affordable rides = more passengers!

GrabCar Saver is an affordable option that needs to be accepted manually by driver-partners. The maximum passengers for each GrabCar Saver booking is four (4) passengers.

GrabCar Saver is currently only available in selected cities, at selected times and day. Refer to the ‘Cities Offered’ section to see if it’s available in your city!


Note: GrabCar Saver is available for all airport rides except to Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Terminal 1 & Terminal 2.

For passenger no-show or late cancellation by passengers, the compensation amount for driver-partners is similar to JustGrab/GrabCar. This similarity also applies to the commissions.

All GrabCar Saver bookings are counted for the bonuses offered (i.e. Far Pick-Up Bonus, Cashback Bonus), unless stated otherwise.

In-app Display

When available, incoming GrabCar Saver booking job cards will be available for 15 seconds for driver-partners to accept or decline. To decline, click the ‘X’ logo on the top right corner.

If no action is detected after 15 seconds, the job card will automatically close

If driver-partners choose to decline, Cancellation Rate (CR) will NOT be affected. CR will only be affected if you cancel a GrabCar Saver booking after it has been accepted.

Note: You may be notified that declining incoming bookings may affect your Acceptance Rate (AR), however this will not affect your bookings or tier.

Pro-Tip: To maximise bookings and increase earnings, keep this service type toggled on at all times!

GrabCar Saver is an affordable option that allows driver-partners to accept or decline incoming bookings without affecting their Cancellation Rate (CR).

GrabCar Saver bookings need to be accepted manually.

As a driver-partner, you may be spending a lot of time waiting for bookings in your area. GrabCar Saver provides driver-partners with the opportunity to potentially receive bookings consistently, regardless of peak or non-peak hours.

All driver-partners are eligible to receive a GrabCar Saver booking, as long as the service type is toggled on in their Grab driver app.

GrabCar Saver is currently only available in selected cities. Refer to the ‘Cities Offered’ section.

GrabCar Saver: Cancellation

No. With GrabCar Saver, driver-partners can choose to accept or decline a booking without it affecting their CR.

However, your CR will be affected if you cancel a GrabCar Saver ride after accepting the booking.

If a passenger cancels 5-minute after you have accepted a GrabCar Saver booking, you will be compensated.

Yes, you will receive compensation similar to JustGrab/GrabCar.

You will not be affected. Lower AR does not affect your future bookings or GrabBenefits tier. We also do not take action against driver-partners based on their AR.

Commissions will be similar to JustGrab/GrabCar.

Yes. In cities where Cahback Bonus is offered, GrabCar Saver bookings are counted towards the bonus.

Yes, you will still receive Far Pick-Up Bonuses. However, the bonus amount may differ due to the different fare.

1. Campaign period is from 15 January 2022 (12:00am) – 28 February 2022 (11.59pm).
2. GrabPay users are eligible for a “RM8 rebate” in your “My Rewards” when you spend a minimum of RM88 on a single receipt via GrabPay Wallet.
3. The offer of “RM8 rebate” is limited to a total of 62,500 redemptions throughout the campaign period.
4. Offer is valid for TWO (2) in-store redemptions with a cap of ONE(1) redemption per user per day throughout the campaign. Shared across AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, and AEON Wellness throughout the campaign period. 
5. The “RM8 rebate” will be awarded instantly with a minimum transaction of RM88 with GrabPay at all outlets of AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, AEON Wellness; The rebate can be found under “My Rewards”. Rebate must be redeemed by clicking “use now” under “My Rewards” 30 days from the date of issuance.
6. The campaign will cease once all redemptions have been fully awarded or at the expiration of the campaign period, whichever is earlier.
7. Offer is based on a first come first served and while stocks last basis only.
