We were glad we made a reservation because this spot fills up fast. The khao soi with grilled chicken was our go to dish with creamy broth, a hint of spice and tender chicken. The green curry rice noodles with prawn balls were chewy with a smooth spicy sauce served hot on the side. The prawn and scallop cake was crisp with bright mango salsa. The mango sticky rice was sweet and fragrant and the Thai milk tea pudding was silky with strong tea flavour. Drinks were refreshing and balanced. Always a favourite place to visit.

Date Night at Un Yang Kor Dai? 🍽️ Stepping into Un Yang Kor Dai for a taste of authentic Thai cuisine was a treat. The restaurant's refined setting immediately set the stage for a delightful evening. Here's what we savored: - Soft Shell Crab Curry: The curry was rich, and the crab was perfectly fried. - Pork Fried Rice: A refreshing mix of textures and tastes. Service was impeccable, and the ambiance was conducive to a relaxed dining experience. Highly recommend for those seeking a refined Thai culinary experience!

Bold flavours, perfect spice, and that crave-worthy crab dish. Loved how they dialled up the heat just right, though my partner prefers a bit sweeter Thai flavour and my mum found it slightly on the salty side. But the real show-stealer? That Stir‑Fried Soft Shell Crab in Curry Sauce — crisp, saucy, and utterly delicious. A must-order! Will definitely bring friends who enjoy the perfect balance of spice, savoury depth, and next-level crab. 🌶️🦀

Craving bold, vibrant flavors? 🌶️ Un Yang Kor Dai should be your go-to for mouthwatering Thai dishes! My fav is the roasted pork. It is a crispy, golden masterpiece! It’s perfectly charred outside and tender & juicy inside. You have to also try their tom yum soup, steamed whole sea bass & the stir fried soft shell crab in curry sauce. 😝

A Michelin-recommended spot that truly delivers. The pineapple fried rice was divine — fresh pineapple chunks and a brilliant touch of dried longan that lifts the whole dish to another level. Their signature grilled chicken is a must. Juicy to the point it feels illegal — tender, smoky, and bursting with flavour. Ended with the Thai milk tea pudding. Tastes exactly like a classic Thai milk tea, and the texture? Solid yet bouncy — absolutely addictive.

🌟 Michelin-Starred Thai Magic in Singapore! 🇹🇭 🍽️ 💁🏻 57 South Bridge Rd, #01-02, Singapore 058688 🦐 Finally got to try this restaurant I’ve been wanting to visit for so long! The Tom Yum soup was delicious! 😁 BTW, the steak was a bit heavy on the seasoning—tastes better without the sauce. 🥩 Definitely a Thai place I’d revisit to try other dishes! ✌🏻

Finally tried this place after hearing all the hype and long queues. Fantastic thai food and generous portions. Flavour bombs from the dishes and definitely not to miss out the tom yum. Price is slightly high but you pay for the quality. Well deserved being recognised in the Michelin guide! Go in groups so that can try more dishes! :)

Stumbled into Im Jai last night and honestly? New favorite Thai spot unlocked! 🔓 Got the Khao Soi Chicken - super coconutty and rich, though fair warning if you’re like me with low spice tolerance, it’s got a kick! 🥥🔥 The Claypot Vermicelli with Tiger Prawn was SO fragrant with that deep seafood flavor that just hits. Washed it all down with a Pomelo Beer which was the perfect refreshing pairing. 🍺 Love finding cozy spots like this nestled in the CBD - feels like a little escape from the office hustle. Generous portions and super attentive service too. Plus I snagged a Dine Out deal which made the whole experience even sweeter! 💰 Im Jai is giving me reasons to make Icon Village a regular stop! Rating: 9/10 Have you been? What should I try next time? 👇

For the quality and generous portions, the prices are incredibly reasonable, making it a fantastic value. Every dish we ordered was a hit. The green curry was a standout—rich, creamy, and bursting with authentic flavor. It was a perfect match for the fragrant chili paste rice which was delicious on its own. The river prawns were another highlight. They were cooked to perfection—fresh, succulent, and the accompanying sauces weee full of flavor. We also tried one of their seasonal specials, the Santol, which was a delightful surprise. Its unique umami flavor added a new dimension to our meal. Overall, Im Jai by Pun Im is a must-try for anyone looking for exceptional Thai food that doesn't break the bank. With its fantastic dishes and affordable prices, it's a place I'll definitely be returning to. Don’t forget to use Dine Out Deals!

Thachang’s crab fried rice is fragrant, flavourful, and loaded with sweet crab meat. Every spoonful has a good balance of wok hei, fluffy rice, and seafood richness. The seasoning is just right savory without being oily letting the natural crab shine. A satisfying, comforting dish that’s simple but incredibly addictive

Their scramble omelette has got to be the best one I had in Singapore, in fact I think it can compete with the best in Thailand itself. After we first discovered this place, we went back at least once to twice a month just to try everything in their menu once. By far one of, if not the best thai food in town. Must try : - Scramble Omelette - Tomyum Seafood - Stir Fried Yellow Curry Fresh Crab Meat - Homemade Prawncake - Deep Fried Pork Belly

Fourgather’s first outlet at Amoy Hotel in Telok Ayer was a hit when it opened in February 2024, and just 10 months later, we’re excited to announce the opening of our second outlet at Suntec City in December 2024. This new location brings an exciting twist with a fresh menu of fusion Thai dishes that cater to all tastes, from young to old. Highlights include Tom Yum and Green Curry Pasta, Steak with Papaya Salad and Sticky Rice, Thai Braised Fish Maw Soup (rich and flavorful), and the Tom Yum Mama Hotpot. Of course, our signature Fourgather Wings are back at Suntec City, now with even more fragrant Thai herbs. For those looking to share, the Pork Party Platter is a must-try, alongside the Jumbo Crab Omelette and the refreshing Royal Garden Pork Katsu Thai Yum Salad.

Why It Matters

Signature Dishes to Try: Contemporary Takes on Traditional Dishes

When thinking of must-try dishes, the classics are just the beginning. Singapore’s Thai restaurants often present contemporary spins on traditional recipes, introducing local twists or elevated presentations. Here’s what you shouldn’t miss:

  • Tom Yum Goong (Spicy Shrimp Soup): A radiant blend of lemongrass, kaffir lime, and fiery chili—this soup embodies Thai cuisine’s essence.
  • Pad Thai: Stir-fried rice noodles, egg, tofu, prawns, and crunchy peanuts, often customized to your spice tolerance.
  • Thai Green Curry: Creamy, fragrant, and made with tender chicken or beef, brimming with eggplant and fresh basil.
  • Pla Kapong Neung Manao (Steamed Fish with Lime and Garlic): A lighter, zesty dish often found in specialty restaurants.
  • Khao Soi: A Northern Thai coconut curry noodle soup, favored for its depth of flavor and comforting warmth.

Contemporary approaches might include using premium seafood, plant-based proteins, or creative plating while retaining essential Thai flavors and aromas.

Understanding Thai Sauces and Spices

Thai sauces and spices are the backbone of the cuisine, offering layers of flavor and fiery complexity. Sauces like nam pla prik (fish sauce with chopped chilies), sweet chili, and peanut sauce are critical to the Thai dining experience. Most restaurants in Singapore provide these classics, allowing patrons to personalize their meals.

  • Nam Pla Prik: Salty, spicy, and tangy, this sauce goes with everything from rice to noodles.
  • Tamarind Sauce: Adds a sweet-sour profile, often used in Pad Thai or dipping sauces.
  • Green and Red Curry Pastes: Blended with coconut milk, these form the base of many iconic dishes.

Spice levels can often be adjusted—just ask your server for recommendations. If you’re new to Thai food, start mild and work your way up. Many diners appreciate that the diversity of Thai establishments in Singapore allows everyone, from spice enthusiasts to those with milder palates, to find dishes they’ll savor.

Elevate Your Thai Food Experience and Exploration

Singapore’s Thai food scene is a dazzling display of culinary skill, cultural authenticity, and constant innovation. Whether you’re on the hunt for the familiar comforts of Pad Thai or eager for an adventurous journey through Issan flavors, the city has it all. Use trusted reviews to navigate the abundant options—prioritizing authentic, quality-driven eateries, and don’t be afraid to try something new.

From street food stalls to sophisticated waterfront venues, each Thai restaurant holds its own story. Explore with an open mind (and empty stomach), taste your way through signature dishes and spicy soups, experiment with sauces, and let every meal transport you to the heart of Thailand. For every food enthusiast and curious traveler, Singapore’s Thai dining landscape promises delight, discovery, and deliciousness at every turn.
