Craving a matcha fix, I found myself at Tsujiri! Their matcha drinks are a visual delight. The matcha latte had a rich, creamy texture, and the matcha taste was just right - not too bitter, not too sweet. The ambiance is clean and simple, perfect for a quick break. Ideal for matcha lovers and anyone looking for a refreshing drink. Highly recommended!

Went to the newly opened Tsujiri 3-storey cafe, which is a lot bigger than their other outlets. However, it was still extremely packed and had a long queue as expected🥹 The service was very hectic and they even toppled over our parfait toppings when they brought it to us. We got the matcha float, matcha float with hojicha ice cream, matcha strawberry roll cake and the matcha parfait. The parfait and ice cream in the float melted super quickly that it got really messy. Overall, the matcha drinks was really good, but the roll cake and parfait was just average. Price: matcha float - $12.80 ⭐️ matcha strawberry roll cake - $10.80 matcha parfait - $16.80 i would drink the matcha again but will pass on the other items (:

We ordered: 1) Yuzu tea ($8) ☕️ 2) Black sesame tea ($9) 🍵 The ambience (pic 2) was really nice — felt like we were in a Japanese tea house on holiday 😊 looks like a good place to get some work done. however the aircon was really really cold.🥶

NEW Japanese Garden in a Teahouse?! TSUJIRI has opened their [NEW] Tsujiri Premium 2 weeks ago at Tanjong Pagar! This is not the same Tsujiri outlet located along the same street. Tsujiri Premium is located right next to Champion Bolo Bun, Tsujiri Premium is a double storeys teahouse with a mezzanine level. The retail and ordering is on level 1, whereas seating space is upstairs with a view of a Japanese Garden. Think: . 1️⃣ Houjicha Cold Brew (SGD 12.80) 2️⃣ Dirty houjicha mini cake (SGD 11.80) 3️⃣ Matcha Mellon Bun (SGD 4) 4️⃣ Yuzu O-Matcha (Cold SGD 11.80)

Smooth and creamy with a strong bittersweet fragrance. The only downside is that some toppings make it taste cheaper than it is eg cornflakes (why???). Ice cream is good though!

From Big Short Coffee’s summer 2025 menu, this drink holds a very surprising blend of flavours and components! I really enjoyed the roasted glutinous rice cream as well as the crunchy salted mung bean topping! You can give this a shot if you’re someone who likes bright, clean, and fruity coffee 💛

saw this place all over tiktok so i had to try it out! price is defo on the higher end but LOVE the uniqueness - there’s a barista prepping the drink in front of you, explaining to you the ingredients of the drink and how to best enjoy it. initially was rather skeptical of the drink combinations but it was a delightful surprise; we tried their summer menu - mango sticky rice🥭 and tickled pink🎀 (of which we ABSOLUTELY DEVOURED)

No frills bar like cafe with unique seasonal coffee drinks! Loved the mont blanc, which had a tasty cold brew topped with orange n nutmeg cream foam. And, they spritz your ‘drinking hand’ with nutmeg scent! Truly a sense-ational experience.

Feels more like an experimental coffee spot — interesting concept but personally not a huge fan of the coffee. Tried their Mango Sticky Rice and Crème Matcha from the summer menu, plus their permanent drink Mont Blanc ($8.50) — all were decent but not quite my taste. That said, it’s definitely worth a visit for the experience — the staff are super passionate and watching them prepare each drink is part of the charm 👏

i visited big short coffee, a viral specialty coffee bar in joochiat! we tried two drink from their summer ‘25 menu☀️ 🍊mont blanc 5.0 $8.50 a cold brew with vanilla bean french cream, nutmeg and orange zest! this was quite refreshing and the orange taste was pretty strong, but personally i’m not a fan of orange + coffee combo😭 🌸tickled pink $8 pink guava & camellia oolong, fresh milk and cold brew jelly! the milk has a light floral taste, and the coffee being in jelly form was a new and interesting concept! i preferred this over the mont blanc!! overall rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️.5/5 interesting concept and great service, especially when they prepare the drinks in front of you and explain how you can best consume it! however, it’s definitely quite pricey… wouldn’t mind trying their autumn menu next time though!

Great spot for both drinks and comfort food! 😋 The Americano was smooth, while the strawberry matcha was creamy and it wasn’t too sweet! Truffle tater tots were perfectly crispy, and the miso butter crab pasta were savory, and packed with flavor. Doesn’t have the fishy smell/taste even tho it has ebiko! 😮

the fooddd was soo goodd 😍😍😍 definitely want to come back here! my fiance loved the fried chicken chuffle, which is a churro waffle dusted with cinnamon powder, and goes surprisingly well with the chicken. i love avocado toast so i got the set which is really filling hehe. the mentaiko fries was just average, so i won’t get that again. there’s a lot of other options on their menu, so i’m looking forward to eating the pasta next time! super must try!!! 😆 there’s even 15% off if you use grab dine out here. :)

Went here twice on a Tues weekday so we got to snatch both the Tues dine out deals and ToMo’s weekday lunch set!!🤭 for the lunch set, u get complimentary sides (fries, potato salad), and drinks too (tea, coffee), and you can choose to upgrade to their signature drinks (top up $3.5) This is what I ordered the first time: 🍝Rosé Duck Linguine ($20) 🌼Botanical Chamommile (complimentary) 🍟Fries! (Or option of potato salad) Then the second time, I tried these: 🦐Grilled Prawn Capellini ($22) 🍵Iced Matcha Strawberry Cloud Latte (top up $3.5 for Signature Drinks) 🍟Fries again🤣 (Or option of potato salad) Overall their pastas are delicious and super filling, I was struggling to finish it🙈 I loveee their Iced Matcha Strawberry latte and all their signature drinks look super appetising too😋 so might be a good idea to top up and try🤭 With the dine out Tues promo (additional 40% off max $20), I ended up paying ~$12 (U.P. $23.98) and ~$16 (U.P. $30.57) Check out @sgfoodiesduo on IG!😉

Saw tomo cafe on the grab dine out list which offers 15% off and i immediately RAN to try this place as it has always been on my to-go list. I went to the one located at Neil Road for Saturday’s brunch and was pleasantly surprised that there was no queue. The cafe was simple and clean with good AC after walking a little to the place 🥵 Ordered the Tomo’s breakfast set, beef ragu linguine, and added on a side of karaage with truffle mayo. Would’nt really recco the karaage as it felt over fried and alittle dry 😕 Beef ragu linguine tasted p decent but I would say there’s nothing to rave about. My fav was definitely the breakfast set with well toasted bread, creamy scrambled eggs, and choice of pork loin or bacon! The cherry tomatoes were also surprisingly sweet and I love dipping the tater tots in the truffle mayo! Also, please please try out their drinks! I was surprised how thick the iced goma milk tasted, it’s like a very thick black sesame paste with milk, highly recco this :>

Nestled in the heart of Novena is a charming Japanese inspired café, offering a peaceful retreat from the city’s buzz! We had a wonderful meal and some of us tried ochazuke for the first time in our lives. Ochazuke is a traditional Japanese dish where rice is soaked in a light broth, and the version we ordered features super tender braised pork belly. With the matcha latte and soufflé pancake, it was definitely a Sunday treat 😊

Visited this charming pet-friendly café and had a wonderful experience! I ordered the matcha latte and pistachio soufflé pancake—both were absolutely delicious. The matcha latte had a smooth, balanced flavor without being too bitter, and the soufflé pancake was light, fluffy, and perfectly nutty. The ambience is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax or catch up with friends (furry ones included!). They also offer a variety of Japanese brunch options that looked tempting—definitely planning to come back and try more from the menu. Highly recommended for matcha lovers, dessert fans, and anyone looking for a relaxing café that welcomes pets!

Amazing vibes! Didn’t know that there was such a chill cafe connected to the outdoors in Yishun 🤩 Came close to closing time, so toast was sold out. Thus, I got a Cheese Poro bun and a Teh iced. It was so relaxing to drink tea and enjoy a very delicious bun that they warmed up for me in such a calming view!

The Salmon was cooked perfectly, not dry with crispy skin Pasta was interesting and tasty yet nicely salted ( not v salty and not 'jelat') Would go there for this again and try the dessert there (Dessert looks gd but meal was filling enough so no space for dessert 😬) Fish and chips were good as well with a substantial amount of fish (better than most fish and chips out there) salad was gd too but chips were average (something like macs fries with some flavouring -> still not bad ) Overall, Nice food !

Wanted to go out and have a girls date with my friend and we decided to go to wild seed cafe at the summer house! It’s kind of far from where we stay so getting there was fun😭 but overall ambience was great and the food was really good too!! Giving my review: Truffle mushroom Brie pizza: 8/10
As someone who LOVES mushrooms and cheese AND pizza this one really hit the spot. The crust was not too thick and had an airy smoky flavour to it. They used an assortment of mushrooms and the bro tasted very fresh heheh. Only downside was that it did get cold fast, wish they heated it more. Wagyu beef burger: 8/10 Now I don’t have a good photo but I can say the burger was very tender and juicy! All the ingredients paired well and it came with curly fries too so I think it’s worth it. Only thing is they used an oat bun which I’m not a big fan off a softer burger bun wld be so much better! Anyway do give this place a go if ur in the area!

Why It Matters

Summary of the Essentials in Reviews: Menu Choices, Atmosphere, and Service

When it comes to picking the perfect cafe, there are three things every enthusiast weighs: food quality, ambiance, and customer service.

  1. In Singapore, coffee shops become iconic for their signature brews, distinctive dishes, and creative presentations.
  2. Unique Menu: The menu anchors any memorable cafe visit, like unique desserts and innovative brunch dishes. Spotlight dishes and drinks that showcase the skill and creativity of chefs. A standout is the creamy French toast embellished with fresh seasonal fruits, celebrated for its taste and presentation. Another highlight is the iced latte, praised for its refreshing and balanced flavors, perfect for hot days. Must-try items also include unique offerings like truffle-infused scrambled eggs and traditional kaya toast, continually winning admirers. These selections reflect the rich diversity and innovative spirit inherent in Singapore's cafes. The aromatic blend of coffee flavors awakens the senses and keeps cafe lovers returning for more. Knowing which place serves the best creamy matcha latte or exceptional eggs is valuable.
  3. Ambiance: The best cafes offer more than food; they create an atmosphere that lingers. The use of innovative interior design elevates the cafe experience by creating memorable atmospheres. Whether it’s a sun-dappled corner with cozy seating, a bohemian art wall, or chic industrial interiors, ambiance sets the mood for your visit. Detailed reviews help readers envision the space—perfect for choosing a spot to catch up with friends, get work done, or celebrate a special moment. Sound, lighting, decor, and even background music matter, and Singapore’s cafes often draw inspiration from both international trends and local culture. Customer Service:Attentiveness and friendliness can turn a decent outing into a truly delightful experience. Singapore’s top-rated cafes are often those with baristas who remember your order, owners who share the cafe’s story, or servers quick to offer menu recommendations. Honest reviews don’t shy away from highlighting both outstanding service and opportunities for improvement, guiding patrons to warm, welcoming spaces.
