Family Account: Terms of Service

For Family Account Admins:

To create and use a Family Account, you agree/acknowledge that:

  1. You accept responsibility for you and your members’ activity on your Family Account.
  2. All members added to your Family Account may request transport rides only.
  3. You agree to pay for rides/services made by or provided to any and all member(s) of your Family Account. Where applicable, payments will be made from any sources of funds made available to Family Account by Grab (“Shared Payment”).
  4. By adding members, you represent and warrant that members are 18 years old or above. If you become aware that a member is under 18 years old, you hereby give your consent as their guardian and take responsibility for their use of the app.
  5. For the purpose of the usage of and adding members to the Family Account, you represent and warrant that you have received consent or authority to share members’ personal information with Grab.
  6. Grab’s Terms of Service and Grab’s Privacy Notice applies to these Family Account Terms of Service and you understand that any breach of these terms by you or any member of your Family Account may result in termination or suspension of the Family Account and/or your individual accounts.
  7. In the event you and your members use the services in another jurisdiction, you acknowledge and agree that your acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Notice will also be considered as an acceptance to the terms and conditions and privacy notice that are relevant in that specific jurisdiction where you and your members use the services.
  8. You may revoke members’ access by removing them.
  9. All members of your Family Account will be able to see each other’s profiles.

For Family Account Members:

  1. You accept responsibility for your activity while part of the Family Account.
  2. As a member in the Family Account, you may request transport rides only. For such transport rides, the Shared Payment method by the Family Account admin will be the default payment method.
  3. By joining the Family Account, you acknowledge that you are of legal age. If you are a minor, you represent and warrant that you have received your guardian/parent’s consent (if required by applicable laws) to use the app and participate in the Family Account.
  4. Grab’s Terms of Service and Grab’s Privacy Notice apply to these Family Account Terms of Service and you understand that any breach of these terms by you may result in termination or suspension of the Family Account and/or your individual account.
  5. All members of the Family Account will be able to see each other’s profiles.

For Partners:

  1. You acknowledge and agree that both the Family Account Admin and Member will have access to your profile (Name, Photo, Car Plate Number, In-app chat messages and Live Location) to facilitate the fulfilment of Family Account Solutions.

1. Campaign period is from 15 January 2022 (12:00am) – 28 February 2022 (11.59pm).
2. GrabPay users are eligible for a “RM8 rebate” in your “My Rewards” when you spend a minimum of RM88 on a single receipt via GrabPay Wallet.
3. The offer of “RM8 rebate” is limited to a total of 62,500 redemptions throughout the campaign period.
4. Offer is valid for TWO (2) in-store redemptions with a cap of ONE(1) redemption per user per day throughout the campaign. Shared across AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, and AEON Wellness throughout the campaign period. 
5. The “RM8 rebate” will be awarded instantly with a minimum transaction of RM88 with GrabPay at all outlets of AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, AEON Wellness; The rebate can be found under “My Rewards”. Rebate must be redeemed by clicking “use now” under “My Rewards” 30 days from the date of issuance.
6. The campaign will cease once all redemptions have been fully awarded or at the expiration of the campaign period, whichever is earlier.
7. Offer is based on a first come first served and while stocks last basis only.
8. Grab and AEON Group shall not be under any obligation to inform users, on any communication channels once the offer has been fully redeemed.
9. Offer is only available for AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, and AEON Wellness physical stores purchases at cashier counter only via GrabPay Wallet; offer is not applicable for online or GrabMart purchases.
10. Offer is not exchangeable for cash or replacements.
11. Offer is not valid with any other voucher, discount or promotion.
12. Grab and AEON Group reserve the right to alter, extend or terminate the promotion, or amend the terms and conditions at its sole discretion at any time without prior notice. In case of any disputes directly or indirectly arising from the promotion, the decision of Grab and AEON Group shall be final.
13. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of or in connection with promotion shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Malaysia.
14. This rebate is non-transferable to any party.
