1. What is GrabPay
The GrabPay Wallet is a mobile wallet within the Grab App that allows you to store prepaid electronic money (your ‘balance’) for seamless cashless payments. You can top up your balance using various methods to pay for goods and services effortlessly. This service is offered by GPay Network (M) Sdn. Bhd. (“GPNM”).
Key Features
- Transfer money to other GrabPay Wallet users (Premium Wallet Only)
- Pay for services within Grab ecosystems
- Make in-store and online purchases at participating GrabPay and DuitNow QR merchants.
- Mobile prepaid and bill payments
2. Know your Obligations
Secure Your PIN:
- You must take all reasonable precautions to safeguard your 6 digit PIN and prevent unauthorized access to your mobile phone.
Personal Use Only:
- You may not permit third parties to use your account or transfer ownership.
Wallet Limit:
- You cannot top up funds beyond the set Wallet limit.
Lawful Usage:
- The account must not be used for illegal goods, services, or fraudulent activities.

4. Know Your Risks
This section outlines the primary risks associated with using the GrabPay Wallet:
Liability for Losses: You will be liable for losses due to your failure to safeguard your e-money and your PIN.
Customer Negligence: GPNM is not liable for losses arising from your error, such as
Inputting incorrect top-up amounts or recipient numbers
Keying in an incorrect recipient mobile number or transaction amount during a Person-to-Person (P2P) transfer.
Account Takeover: If your mobile phone is lost or stolen, there is a risk of unauthorized transactions. Call us immediately if you lose your e-money, and to activate the emergency switch without delay to prevent or limit further losses.
5. Other Key Terms
- Refunds: If a refund causes your balance to exceed BNM limits, the excess is reversed to your original top-up source within approximately 3 days.
- Account Closure: Liability for refunds is limited to account closure, wrongly charged amounts, or valid disputed transactions.
- Overseas Usage: Payments are generally restricted to the country of registration.
