Verify Your Account

As an eWallet regulated by Bank Negara Malaysia, GrabPay is required to verify our customers’ identities in a process called KYC (Know Your Customers) to keep the platform more secure. By completing this 2-step verification, you will have access to a full range of Grab services.

Step 1: Confirm Your Identity

  1. Tap on ‘Check it Out’

  2. Enter your Full Name as in your ID

  3. Enter the number on your identity document (MyKad or passport) and tap on ‘Submit’

  4. You are now able to perform cashless payment!

Step 2: Upgrade Your Wallet

  1. Tap on ‘Upgrade Now’

  2. Take a photo of your MyKad or Passport

  3. Money transfer is now enabled! Please wait for your document to be verified before upgrade is successful

Tips for taking a good photograph:

  1. Take a complete picture of your document
  2. Make sure details are not blurred out
  3. Make sure you are in a well lit room
  4. Submit a valid ID/document

Create Grab PIN

Secure your GrabPay Wallet by setting your unique GrabPIN. Once your GrabPIN is set up, you won’t have to re-enter your credit card details every time you pay with GrabPay!

How to Set Up Your Grab PIN

  1. Tap on ‘Account’

  2. Tap on ‘Settings’

  3. Tap on ‘Set Up a PIN’

  4. Enter a 6-digit PIN and tap ‘Next’

  5. Re-enter a 6-digit PIN to confirm

  6. Confirm Your Email Address and tap Submit

    Your Grab PIN has been set up successfully!

Add a Card

Start paying with GrabPay by adding your credit or debit card to top up your GrabPay Wallet.

How to Add Your Card

  1. Tap on ‘Payment’ on the bottom navigation bar

  2. Tap on the card icon

  3. Tap on ‘Add Payment Methods’

  4. Tap on ‘Credit / debit card’

  5. Enter your card details and tap ‘Save’

    Your card has been added successfully!

Top Up Your Wallet

Top up your GrabPay Wallet using the card that you linked previously or check out other methods to top up here.

How to Top Up Your Wallet

  1. Tap on ‘Payment’ on the bottom navigation bar

  2. Tap on ‘Cards and Wallets’

  3. Select a top-up value, select your preferred payment method and tap ‘Confirm’

  4. Your top-up is successful!

Set GrabPay Wallet as Primary Payment Method

Set GrabPay Wallet as your primary payment method to make the most out of your payments. All of your transactions will be charged to your wallet, earning you the highest amount of GrabRewards points every time you pay. Additionally, using GrabPay Wallet as your primary payment method offers you access to the widest range of Grab services.

How to Change Primary Payment Method

  1. Tap on ‘Payment’ on the bottom navigation bar

  2. Tap on the cards icon

  3. Tap on your GrabPay Wallet

  4. Tap on the toggle to set as primary

  5. GrabPay has been set as your primary payment method successfully!

2. GrabPay users are eligible for a “RM8 rebate” in your “My Rewards” when you spend a minimum of RM88 on a single receipt via GrabPay Wallet.
3. The offer of “RM8 rebate” is limited to a total of 62,500 redemptions throughout the campaign period.
4. Offer is valid for TWO (2) in-store redemptions with a cap of ONE(1) redemption per user per day throughout the campaign. Shared across AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, and AEON Wellness throughout the campaign period. 
5. The “RM8 rebate” will be awarded instantly with a minimum transaction of RM88 with GrabPay at all outlets of AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, AEON Wellness; The rebate can be found under “My Rewards”. Rebate must be redeemed by clicking “use now” under “My Rewards” 30 days from the date of issuance.
6. The campaign will cease once all redemptions have been fully awarded or at the expiration of the campaign period, whichever is earlier.
7. Offer is based on a first come first served and while stocks last basis only.
8. Grab and AEON Group shall not be under any obligation to inform users, on any communication channels once the offer has been fully redeemed.

13. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of or in connection with promotion shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Malaysia.
