The differences between a basic and premium GrabPay Wallet:

  • Basic GrabPay Wallet can hold a maximum balance of RM500; Premium GrabPay Wallet can hold a maximum balance of RM1,500. More info

As part of Bank Negara Malaysia’s regulation, all e-wallet users are required to complete an identity verification process by submitting a live selfie and personal details.

This step helps us prevent fraudulent activities and verify the rightful owner of each GrabPay Wallet.

The GrabPay Wallet verification process takes 2-3 working days. Upon approval, you will be notified of your application status via the Grab app.

All submissions to verify or upgrade to a premium GrabPay Wallet are subject to approval. Bonus GrabRewards Points will be awarded within 5 working days upon approval.

Yes, each eligible user is limited to 1x 2,000 GrabRewards Points throughout the campaign period.

The campaign will end once the maximum collective allocation of 30,000,000 GrabRewards Points (15,000 premium GrabPay Wallet approval) is reached.

All applicants will be notified via the Grab app. GrabRewards Points awarded can be viewed under “Points History” on the Grab app.

As long as your application to upgrade to premium GrabPay Wallet happens within the campaign period, you will be entitled to the bonus GrabRewards Points provided that your application is approved.

Terms & Conditions

  1. Campaign is only valid from 10 September 2021 (12.00am) to 09 October 2021 (11.59pm)
  2. Campaign is only eligible for selected users who received the promotional message on their Grab app.
  3. Campaign is only valid in Malaysia and for Malaysians only.
  4. Depending on eligibility, eligible users must either verify or complete the upgrade to a premium GrabPay Wallet within the campaign period to be entitled for the prize of 2,000 GrabRewards Points.
  5. Prizes are limited to a maximum collective allocation of 30,000,000 GrabRewards Points (15,000 x 2,000 GrabRewards Points).
  6. Campaign will end at the end of the campaign period, or when the available prizes have been fully awarded, whichever earlier. Prizes are awarded on a first come first served basis and while stocks last only.
  7. Grab does not have any obligation to inform the user in the event prizes has reached the maximum redemption throughout the campaign period during or before the end of the campaign period.
  8. All submissions to verify or upgrade to a premium GrabPay Wallet are subject to approval. Prizes will be awarded to all winners within 5 working days upon approval. GrabRewards Points awarded can be viewed under “Points History” on the Grab app.
  9. GrabRewards Points issued from this campaign will not contribute to a GrabRewards tier upgrade, and no extensions of validity will be entertained.
  10. Prizes are not exchangeable for cash or replacements.
  11. Any user who terminates their GrabPay Wallet during the campaign period shall be automatically disqualified from this campaign & shall not be entitled to the prizes.
  12. Grab reserves the right to alter, extend or terminate the promotion, or amend the terms and conditions at its sole discretion at any time without prior notice. In case of any disputes directly or indirectly arising from the promotion, the decision of Grab shall be final.
  13. Grab reserves the right to investigate winners’ referrals for fraud / gaming and GrabRewards Points earned will be forfeited or revoked if the winner is found to violate the Terms & Conditions.
  14. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia and any dispute arising out of or in connection with promotion shall be referred to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts of Malaysia.

2. GrabPay users are eligible for a “RM8 rebate” in your “My Rewards” when you spend a minimum of RM88 on a single receipt via GrabPay Wallet.
3. The offer of “RM8 rebate” is limited to a total of 62,500 redemptions throughout the campaign period.
4. Offer is valid for TWO (2) in-store redemptions with a cap of ONE(1) redemption per user per day throughout the campaign. Shared across AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, and AEON Wellness throughout the campaign period. 
5. The “RM8 rebate” will be awarded instantly with a minimum transaction of RM88 with GrabPay at all outlets of AEON Co, AEON BiG, AEON MaxValu Prime, AEON Wellness; The rebate can be found under “My Rewards”. Rebate must be redeemed by clicking “use now” under “My Rewards” 30 days from the date of issuance.
6. The campaign will cease once all redemptions have been fully awarded or at the expiration of the campaign period, whichever is earlier.
7. Offer is based on a first come first served and while stocks last basis only.
8. Grab and AEON Group shall not be under any obligation to inform users, on any communication channels once the offer has been fully redeemed.
