Partner App Service Terms

Please read this Partner App Terms of Service carefully. This Partner App Terms of Service are to be read together with the Terms of Service (collectively, the “Terms of Service”). By using our Service, in particular, the Partner Apps feature found on the Grab Platform, you are deemed to have read, agreed and understood the terms and conditions of our Terms of Service, which are applicable to you. If you do not agree to our Terms of Service, please do not use or continue using our Platform or Service.

Grab reserves the right to add, amend or remove these Partner App Terms of Service at any time, without any prior notice. If you do not agree to any changes, you must stop using our Platform and Services. Please note that your continued use of our Platform and Services will mean that you have agreed and consented to any changes to these Terms of Service.

All defined terms not defined in this Partner App Terms of Service, carry the same meaning as defined in the Terms of Service.

The Partner Apps feature on the Grab Platform allows Partners (as defined in the Terms of Service, specifically those who operate and manage their own applications) to integrate with the Grab Platform, allowing them to list, promote and/or sell products and services to you via Grab Platform (“Partner’s Services”).

When you use Partner’s Services, you acknowledge and agree that:

  1. Grab is not the manufacturer, distributor, provider or seller of Partner’s Services. Grab shall not be liable for any losses, damages, claims, costs, liabilities, or expenses  (including attorneys’ fees and costs and/or regulatory action) arising out of or in connection with the Partner’s Services, or any material or content made available by Partner via the Partner Apps feature. 
  2. Any issues arising from or related to the Partner’s Services, including quality issues, shall be resolved directly between you and the Partner.
  3. Your purchase and use of Partner’s Services are subject to Partner’s applicable terms and policies. 
  4. Payment for Partner’s Services through the Partner Apps feature is able to be made using payment methods available on the Grab App designated to facilitate the purchase of the Partner Apps feature, as applicable.
  5. Payments for Partner’s Services may trigger granting of rewards to you. The rewards may be in OVO Points or other forms as provided from time to time, and shall only be awarded for transactions completed through the Partner Apps feature in the Grab Application (currently rewards are not applicable for the purchase of train tickets from PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero)). Grab reserves the right to cancel or claw back any rewards issued to you, if the transaction is subsequently cancelled, voided, declined or reversed.

By accessing and using the Partner Apps feature via Grab platform, you hereby consent to the exchange of the following categories of data between Grab and its Partner(s), for the purposes described below:

  1. Personal Identification Information: Your Grab username, email address (where applicable), and phone number may be shared with Partner(s) for the purposes of:
    (a) enabling and facilitating single sign-on (SSO) integration; and
    (b) enabling access to, and the fulfillment of, the Partner’s services; (c) facilitating account creation or matching on the Partner’s platform, which may involve pre-filling registration forms or verifying existing accounts. You may be required to take additional steps—such as accepting terms, verifying contact details, or completing profile information—to complete the account setup or enable access to Partner’s services directly.
  2. Location and Sensor Data: For certain Partner services, the following data may be shared as necessary to enable such services:
    (a) geolocation data,
    (b) Bluetooth signal data and/or device identifiers,
    (c) images or video footage captured by your device camera showing the condition of the relevant goods or items before and after the booking or usage period.

This data may be used for authentication, unlocking or activation of goods, condition verification, and related logistical operations. Service Support, Rewards and Benefits Administration: Data (including identification information and interaction history) may be used and shared for the purpose of administering, delivering, and managing any rewards, loyalty programs, or benefits offered by Grab or its Partner(s), including eligibility determination, redemption processing, and related customer support.

       3. Service Support, Rewards and Benefits Administration: Data (including identification information and interaction history) may be used and shared for the purpose of administering, delivering, and managing any rewards, loyalty programs, or benefits offered by Grab or its Partner(s), including eligibility determination, redemption processing, and related customer support.

4. Analytical Data: Event tracking and analytical data may be shared for purposes related to:
          (a) trust and safety assurance
          (b)  research
          (c)  fraud detection and prevention
          (d) product, feature and platform improvement.

5. Data for Service Optimisation:
(a) Data may used to support your journey through the service, such as sending reminders to check out items left in your shopping cart or to continue unfinished actions;
(b) Data may be used to present products or content tailored to your interest or the preferences of users with similar behavior, helping make your experience mor relevant and engaging.

6. Any other reasonable purposes as stated in the Grab Privacy Notice.

You acknowledge and agree that Grab shall not be held liable for any information or data you provide directly to the Partner. It is your responsibility to thoroughly review the Partner’s Terms & Conditions and Privacy Notice prior to sharing any information.
