Jakarta, 8 April 2016 – GrabBike, the on-demand ‘ojek’ service provided by Grab (formerly known as GrabTaxi), Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing platform, today announced that it will guarantee the ride allocation within key selected business areas in Jakarta for its passengers from 8 – 15 April during the non-peak hours (09:00 – 16:00 WIB) or Grab will compensate all unallocated passengers by giving them free rides maximum up to five times.

“Grab aims to make transportation accessible to everyone, with an emphasis on speed, safety and reliability. As a part of our to commitment to provide the best service and experience for all users in the country, we will guarantee the ride allocation for GrabBike users during the non-peak hours. Should they failed to get their booking allocated from 8 – 15 April, we will compensate by giving them GrabBike free rides maximum up to five times.” Said Kiki Rizki, Country Head of Marketing, Grab Indonesia.

The user that failed to get their booking allocated within Benhil Karet, Kebayoran, Kuningan, Menteng, Monas, SCBD – Semanggi, Senayan, Setiabudi, Tanah Abang, and Tendean areas from 09:00 – 16:00 WIB on 8 – 15 April 2016, will be able to ride with GrabBike for free up to five times. Grab will send one exclusive promo code for free five GrabBike rides to the qualified user via email and/or in-app notification within two (2) days of the booking.

Qualified users can then key-in the exclusive promo code before each booking to redeem the free rides. Each unallocated user is allowed to use the promo a maximum of five times with a maximum fare of Rp. 50.000 per ride. Each qualified user is only entitled for one promo code for the entire promo period. The promo code is valid until 15 May 2016 and only applicable for GrabBike service. Cancellations from users, bikers & Grab customer service will not be counted for this promotion.
