Grab Improves Shopping Experience with GrabStand and GrabVenue at Lippo Malls, with Support from BOLT!

Grab today announced that its appointment as Official Transport Partner for Lippo Malls.

Jakarta, Indonesia – 25 August 2016 – Grab today announced that its appointment as Official Transport Partner for Lippo Malls. Shoppers can go to all Lippo Malls’ shopping centres in Greater Jakarta in comfort using Grab’s taxi, car or bike services, and be dropped off and picked up at official GrabStand, which will be located at the most convenient locations at the malls. Shoppers who may not have internet access and need help booking taxis, cars or bikes can use GrabVenue, a self-service booking terminal that is powered by BOLT!’s high-speed 4G internet connectivity.

GrabStand is a pre-determined physical location marker and waiting area for passengers and shoppers to be picked up by Grab services. GrabVenue is a self-service terminal, where shoppers can book rides with any Grab service. Shoppers need only enter their destination and head straight to the GrabStand to be picked up – no need to use their own smartphone or their personal mobile data, or contact drivers to coordinate the exact pickup point. GrabVenue can be used for multiple bookings, so multiple shoppers can use it for bookings at any one time.

Further complementing the affiliation, BOLT! 4G Ultra LTE with its advanced technology and 95% Fiber Optic connection will ensure a fast and stable connection for GrabVenue, making booking Grab services even easier and convenient on every Lippo Malls. In addition, BOLT! also provides 4G Ultra LTE connectivity on many of selected GrabCar vehicles, to offer a more convenient and comfortable ride experience for the customers while they surf the internet in high-speed during their trip.

As the official transport partner for Lippo Malls, Grab will have exclusive GrabStands and GrabVenue at all shopping centres affiliated to Lippo Malls. These will be available at 21 Lippo Malls’ affiliated shopping centres in Jakarta this week, and across all other affiliated shopping centres in Jabodetabek by Q32016. GrabStand and GrabVenue will also soon be available at Lippo Malls in other Indonesian cities where Grab operates in, including Bandung, Surabaya and Bali.
