Jakarta, November 2nd, 2017 – Grab, the leading on-demand transportation and mobile payments platform in Southeast Asia, today announced its role as the official ride buddy for Indonesia’s annual modern culture festival, Brightspot 2017. This partnership continues to emphasize Grab’s commitment to be the platform that inspires people and encourage them to follow their passions and do it with gusto, while Grab helps to connect it to them.
Through the participation at this year’s event, Grab also introduced “Grab the Art Car” as its first curation program in partnership with Brightspot, showcasing ten GrabCar units that have been exclusively designed by ten country’s top young artists with unique art preferences. The ten artists involved in the project were Adi Dharma ‘Stereoflow’, Aver Roes, Isa Indra Permana, Bunga Yuridespita, Marcella Liunic, Muchlis Fachri ‘Muklay’, Muhammad Taufiq ‘EMTE’, The Popoh, Ratta Bill dan Zaky Arifin.

This year’s Brightspot will run from 2 to 5 November at PIK Avenue Ballroom in 300m2 area with supports of more than 170 tenants over the four-day period with five main areas: Fashion area, F&B area, Music & Collaboration area, Art Installation area & Kids area. Each area to host entertaining shows for the visitors to spend their weekend in a real festival ambiance.
