Grab Appreciates GrabBike Driver Partners in Surabaya with Special Gathering and Awards Ceremony

Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing and mobile payments platform, conducted a special gathering event and awards ceremony to nurture a positive relationship with its Surabaya GrabBike driver partners to show appreciation for their hard work and commitment to uphold Grab’s values and service standards.

Recognizes GrabBike driver partners for their outstanding service

 Surabaya, 27 July 2017 – Grab, Southeast Asia’s leading ride-hailing and mobile payments platform, conducted a special gathering event and awards ceremony to nurture a positive relationship with its Surabaya GrabBike driver partners to show appreciation for their hard work and commitment to uphold Grab’s values and service standards.

The awards ceremony recognized GrabBike driver partners for outstanding service and comprises driver partners that always adhere to safety, speed, and reliability, in performing their duties. 500 GrabBike driver partners attended the event and 13 top performing driver partners were awarded certificate and fascinating prizes.

As we expand in various markets in Indonesia, it is crucial to have a healthy, two-way communication to gather constructive feedback and ultimately, form a close-knit and prosperous Grab family. Rewarding the top performing driver partners is part of our continuous commitment to empower its partners and improve their livelihood.”

Took place at Lapangan Yamaha Surabaya, Grab representatives handed out various type of rewards including electronic products as well as shopping vouchers. This gathering is part of Grab’s GrabSejahtera initiative that aims to build better lives for Grab’s driver partners and their families welfare programs from various aspects, such as education, health, finance, social and religious lives.

These aspects are implemented in Grab’s signature programs, such as Grab Ibadah, Grab Keluarga Bahagia, Grab Sehat, Grab Pintar, Grab Top Partners and Grab Part-timer. The performance standard is based on several criteria including assessment (ratings) from passengers, the number of job acceptance rate, zero fraudulent activity, and loyalty of each of the driver partners.

“Our top drivers embody the Grab spirit and passion and have become great examples for their peers. We hope with these modest appreciations, they will be even more motivated in delivering Grab’s signature safe and reliable transportation service to our customers.” Mediko concluded.
