MANILA, 20 June, 2018 – Grab, one of the most frequently used online-to-offline (O2O) mobile platforms in Southeast Asia, teams up with Shopee, the leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia and Taiwan, to provide same day delivery to Shopee users in the Philippines.
As the rainy season goes full swing, shopping emergencies are more present than ever. With this team-up, customers will never have to worry about problems such as ruining heels outside a formal event or forgetting to buy a gift for a friend’s birthday party.

THE GRABEXPRESS WAY
To address shopping emergencies, Grab has partnered with Shopee to enable a true form of express delivery. Shopee users located within Metro Manila can now enjoy same-day delivery from selected sellers, for orders placed between 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM from Monday to Saturday.
For just a delivery fee of P25.00 (limited time only), Grab and Shopee make same day delivery convenient and cost-efficient, rendering greater savings and instant gratification to the users. Customers can now reward themselves after a long day by simply purchasing their favorite item and waiting for it to arrive at their doorstep in just few hours.
The same day delivery starts on June 20, in collaboration with Shopee’s top sellers. In the following months, Shopee will continue to expand its coverage to include more merchants including leading brands from Shopee Mall.

This partnership serves to afford an elevated level of convenience for users to shop for their favorite products or necessities on Shopee, and have them delivered to their doorsteps in just a few hours.”

This partnership with Shopee is a testament to our commitment to further improve our consumers’ Grab experience and address their needs beyond transportation,” said Cindy Toh, Grab Philippines’ country marketing head.
Grab users can also enjoy other GrabExpress features such as real-time monitoring and multiple booking for a quicker and safer parcel-sending. Shopee is constantly implementing upgrades to make the express system even better.
