Grab Presents GrabFood Nusarasa in Celebrating the Rich Flavour of Indonesian Cuisine
GrabFood Nusarasa is a culinary festival that can be enjoyed through GrabFood application. This culinary festival is specifically crafted to introduce the diverse and rich flavour of Indonesian cuisine.
JAKARTA, 1 November 2018 – ‘Unity in Diversity’ has its own meaning for Indonesian, for its diverse culture. Diversity is not always an obstacle, but it could also enrich our heritage and culture further. Grab believes that Indonesia is the combination of diverse flavors that creates a perfect union. Some people might fail to recall that Indonesia’s unity was started by this diversity. In the spirit in celebrating the diversity of Indonesia, Grab presents GrabFood Nusarasa.
GrabFood Nusarasa is a culinary festival that can be enjoyed through GrabFood application. This culinary festival is specifically crafted to introduce the diverse and rich flavour of Indonesian cuisine. Through this program, Grab will bring customers closer to the authentic flavour of Indonesian cuisine (#RasaAsliIndonesia) that can be enjoyed within the comfort of a single touch in Grab application.
Discover the authentic flavour of Indonesian cuisine
Customer does not need to travel far to taste the signature dish in each region in Indonesia. GrabFood Nusarasa will bring selected merchants from various regions in Indonesia to Jakarta, starting from 25 October to 19 December 2018. Customers can enjoy the authentic taste of Indonesian cuisine from different regions in Indonesia within the following period:
- GrabFood Nusarasa Taste of Sumatra: 25 October – 7 November 2018;
- GrabFood Nusarasa Taste of Java: 8 – 21 November 2018;
- GrabFood Nusarasa Taste of Kalimantan: 22 November – 5 December 2018;
- GrabFood Nusarasa Taste of Bali & Sulawesi: 6 – 19 December 2018.
“People can discover Indonesia through its cuisine. It contains different ingredients, but it could blend perfectly, creating authentic flavours of Indonesia. Grab bring the best merchants from various regions in Indonesia to Jakarta, so customers can experience the authentic cuisine from its origin. For the first phase, we brought Palembang authentic fish cake from Pempek Vico, Medan famous clam satay from Sate Kerang Rahmat and Aceh delicious noodle from Mie Midi Peuniti that introduced Sumatran signature cuisine in Jakarta. In line with Grab’s vision, it is important for us to bring our customers closer to the authentic flavour of Indonesia,” said Mediko Azwar, Marketing Director of Grab Indonesia.
Grab hopes that GrabFood Nusarasa program will be able to bring Indonesian closer with their rich heritage and flavour. The authentic taste of Indonesia, now closer with Grab.
