Grab Partners with Primer Koperasi Angkatan Udara as Online Transportation Partner in Husein Sastranegara International Airport Bandung

Grab, the leading on-demand transportation and mobile payments platform in Southeast Asia, today inaugurated its strategic partnership in transportation sector with Primary Cooperation of Air Force (PRIMKOPAU).

Bandung, 5 February 2018 – Grab, the leading on-demand transportation and mobile payments platform in Southeast Asia, today inaugurated its strategic partnership in transportation sector with Primer Koperasi Angkatan Udara (PRIMKOPAU). In line with Grab’s commitment to continue expanding its business and improving the quality of its various services, this partnership facilitates passengers who arrive in Husein Sastranegara International Airport, Bandung. Currently, the passengers can continue their journey by visiting Grab’s official pickup point and directly book safe and convenient transport services through GrabCar.

“We realise the vision of Bandung city government to transform Bandung into a smart city, in which easy access to various transport services can be integrated and enjoyed by the residents. We see that Grab’s official presence with PRIMKOPAU in Husein Sastranegara International Airport is able to support that vision by providing the customers with the easy access to enjoy GrabCar service from the airport to their destination in Bandung and surrounding areas. Moreover, with our customer base spread in 8 countries across Southeast Asia and 77 million app downloads, we hope we can support this year’s efforts of Bandung city government to reach the same target of 7 million tourists in 2017 (1) with the easy access to land transportation in Bandung.” added Ridzki Kramadibrata, Managing Director Grab Indonesia.

PRIMKOPAU is greatly helped by Grab as an online based application fleet at the airport that creates added value for its customers”

In Husein Sastranegara International Airport, the passengers can enjoy GrabNow feature that will facilitate GrabCar bookings. All the passengers have to do is to visit Grab’s pickup point located in airport’s arrival terminal and Grab’s representative will assist the instant booking along with other representative who will help moving passengers’ belongings into the car. The passengers will be charged with GrabCar fare stated in the application that they agree prior to the booking, ensuring the affordable fare for them. The official GrabCar fleets in Husein Sastranegara International Airport can be easily identified with a distinctive PRIMKOPAU stickers on the rear window.

“Air travel can be very exhausting for passengers, especially when it’s a long-haul flight. Through Grab’s official availability in Husein Sastranegara Airport with PRIMKOPAU, we hope we can facilitate the airport visitors to get convenient, safe land transport services with fixed and affordable fares.
