Grab and Koperasi Pengelola Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia (Kophrindo) today inaugurated Grab-Kophrindo booth at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar as a seamless and safe meeting point for passengers and Grab’s driver partners.

DENPASAR, 10 APRIL 2018 – Grab and Koperasi Pengelola Hotel dan Restoran Indonesia (Kophrindo) today inaugurated Grab-Kophrindo booth at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar as a seamless and safe meeting point for passengers and Grab’s driver partners. The facility aimed to become a ride solution for tourists in Bali as world’s top tourist destination[1] and support the transportation infrastructure in one of the busiest airports in Indonesia.

“Through the partnership with Kophrindo at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport that has been established since December 2017, Grab can play its part in supporting the efforts to enhance airport transport service by providing Grab-Kophrindo Meeting Point Booth in the arrival area that will ease the pick-up process for our customers who use GrabCar to explore the Island of God with our driver-partners. Grab appreciates Kophrindo for its trust on our service and hope we can participate in supporting the advancement of tourism in Bali.” said Ridzki Kramadibrata, Managing Director, Grab Indonesia.

Strategically located in domestic arrival area of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, tourists can seamlessly book the ride to reach their holiday destinations and visit Grab booth to meet driver partners. The official staff in the booth will help the passengers with the ride booking process and inform some tour packages provided by Kophrindo.

According to the data of Mastercard Index of Global Destination Cities 2017[1], Southeast Asia continues developing to become tourist’s main destination globally. The presence of Grab in 196 cities across Southeast Asia has led Grab as the leading transportation application that facilitates tourists’ activities in the region.

Grab-Kophrindo meeting point will start operating on 10 April 2018 in domestic arrival area at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. Passengers can key in “Kophrindo-Grab Meeting Point” as the pick-up location during the booking process and enjoy GrabCar fixed fare stated upfront on the app. In Bali, Grab provides GrabCar, GrabBike, GrabTaxi, GrabFood and GrabExpress service.
