No more snowballing debts

If you’ve missed a payment, your account will be temporarily suspended until you’ve made the outstanding payment. You’ll also need to pay a flat THB 50 collection fee (VAT exclude, total THB 53.50) for each overdue PayLater bill over THB 1,000 to reactivate your account. This fee is chargeable for every missed payment.

  • Am I eligible for PayLater

    Grab consumers who are eligible for PayLater should be

    1. You’ve been an existing Grab user for at least 6 months
    2. You’re aged 20 to 65 years
    3. Your account has been fully verified
    4. You’re a Platinum, Gold, or Silver GrabRewards tier user
    5. Your Grab app has been updated to the latest Android version or iOS version.

    If you’re eligible for PayLater, you’ll be able to activate it in-app, or simply launch your Grab app, tap on Payments, tap on Enjoy Now and Pay Later under Explore GrabPay.

    If you don’t see the PayLater option, we’re unfortunately unable to offer this service to you just yet. All approvals are subject to our internal review.

  • Will I get GrabRewards points if I pay using PayLater?

    Yes you will and you can easily track if you’re earning GrabRewards points for your selected Grab payment method by checking it during the checkout flow. Get up to 2 GrabRewards points (1 GrabRewards points per 1 THB spent) for every PayLater transaction.

  • Is there a cost to use PayLater

    PayLater is a free service, there are no upfront fees charged or any interest accrued.

    The only fee that may be incurred is (total amount of THB53.50, inclusive of VAT) for each missed payment. Your PayLater account may be suspended if you have overdue PayLater bill and you do not make any payments after being notified by us.

  • Can my PayLater available amount be changed?
    Your PayLater credit balance can be increased or decreased based on your user profile and the information available to us. Some criteria include how long you’ve been a Grab user, how much you’ve used Grab, your GrabRewards tier and more. As your profile can change over time, so can your Available Amount. If your Available Amount decreases, this is done to protect you from overspending.
  • How do I activate PayLater?

  • Can I pay the bill early?
    Yes, you can pay the Postpaid PayLater bill both partial and full amount by yourself via Grab app or the auto deduction will occur on 7th of the month
