What are the qualifications and criteria to apply?

  1. Bukas sa lahat pati ang pangkalahatang publiko
  2. Ang applicant ay Filipino citizen
  3. Ang applicant ay incoming freshman na interesadong mag-aral sa colleges sa itaas
 
 
  1. Applicant ay nagmumula sa pamilya na may monthly family income na PHP 24,000 at pababa
  2. Naka-achieve ng average grade ng at least 88 para sa Grades 11 at 12. Kung ang Grade 12 final grades ay hindi available sa oras ng application, ang mga grades hanggang 3rd Quarter ay maaaring i-submit.
  3. Walang disciplinary sanctions noong senior high school
  4. Bukod pa sa Hawak Kamay Scholarship ni PHINMA, ang applicant ay dapat walang ibang active na scholarships.
What does the scholarship cover?

Para sa buong panahon mo sa iyong course, sagot ng scholarship ang mga sumusunod:

  1. Tuition at miscellaneous fees
  2. School Supplies Allowance (para sa Uniform, Textbooks, Student ID): P10,000 per year
  3. Monthly Student Allowance support: P2,500 per school month
How will I be notified of my application status?
  1. Ang mga successful applicant lamang ang manonotify sa email by August 4, 2023.
  2. Ang listahan din ng successful applicants ay ipopost sa GrabScholar page.

TANDAAN: Kahit hindi ka makuha sa ating college scholarships, ‘wag mag-alala dahil lahat ng GrabScholar applicants ay automatic din na may chance na maging isa sa 28,000 students na makakatanggap ng partial (50%) scholarships mula sa Hawak Kamay program ng PHINMA Education.

**Kung ika’y Grab delivery o merchant partner, kailangan mong mag-submit ng screenshots ng iyong Grab earnings. Kapag naman ikaw ay hindi Grab partner, mag-submit lamang ng recent 1-month payslip ng head of household ng applicant. Kung walang payslips, maaaring kumuha ng Certificate of Indigency mula sa barangay ng applicant o mula sa DSWD (kung menor de edad ang applicant, ang certificate ay dapat naka-issue o nakapangalan sa parent o legal guardian).

  • Application period – July 16 to July 30, 2023
  • Scholarship Interview – July 24 to August 1, 2023
  • Releasing of results – August 4, 2023
  • Scholars sign scholarship contract – August 9, 2023

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Applicants with active scholarships other than PHINMA’s Hawak Kamay scholarship are NOT qualified.

Applicants/students must have an average grade of at least 88 in Grades 11 and 12.

Only successful applicants will be notified through email by August 4, 2023. A list of successful applicants will also be posted on the GrabScholar page.
