GVV is Grab’s startup accelerator program that partners with high-potential startups to run pilot programs within the Grab ecosystem and scale their impact in Indonesia.
GVV is open to growth-stage startups, typically post-seed or Series A, that are tech-driven and aligned with the theme of the current batch. Startups must be able to demonstrate product-market fit and readiness to pilot with Grab.
Participating startups will gain:
- Exposure to the Grab network, including its Merchant base, Drivers, and Users.
- Opportunities to conduct pilot program within the Grab ecosystem.
- Tailored guidance from Grab executives and industry experts.
- Access to strategic partners and media exposure.
- Networking opportunities with venture capitalists, established corporations, and potential collaborators.
GVV typically runs for 16-20 weeks, including onboarding, pilot design, execution, and mentorship.
GVV does not guarantee direct funding, but startups will gain exposure to Grab’s network of venture capitalists and potential investors. Select cases may involve co-investment or support via partners.
While GVV offers real piloting opportunities, long-term collaboration is based on performance and strategic alignment post-program.
The ninth batch of Grab Ventures Velocity (GVV) is dedicated to supporting AI-enabled startups that either offer sustainable solutions or integrate sustainability into their business practices. The program seeks to empower startups that provide value to Grab’s vast network of drivers, merchants, and users across several key sectors, such as:
- Fintech and Climate Tech
- Agriculture and Smart City technology
- Health Tech and Education & Talent
- Retail & Customer Tech and Enterprise Software & Services
Startups from across Indonesia are welcome to apply, with a preference for those that can localize or pilot effectively within Indonesia and other Grab markets. Participants must also be able to attend the program series held in Jakarta.
