Family Account Terms and Conditions

I – Terms of Service for Family Account Administrator

1. You accept responsibility for your and your members’ activity on your Family Account.

2. Subject to Clause 11;

(a) all members added to your Family Account may request transport rides only; and

(b) you agree to pay for rides/services made by or provided to any and all member(s) of your Family Account. Where applicable, payments will be made from any sources of funds made available to the Family Account by Grab (“Shared Payment”)

3. All members of your Family Account will be able to see each other’s profiles.

4. By adding members, you represent and warrant that:

(a) members are major under the laws of Thailand; or

(b) if the member is a minor under the laws of Thailand (“Teen Member”), you give your consent as his/her guardian, take responsibility for his/her use of the app, and have been authorized by such Teen Member to act on the Teen Member’s behalf.

5. In respect of all members, you acknowledge and agree that:

(a) Grab may contact the member directly regarding issues and incidents reported by you or others in relation to the member’s use of the Family Account;

(b) you consent to Grab directly communicating with the member in the event of an issue or incident, and that such communication may occur by any means, including but not limited to (i) the Grab app; (ii) a phone conversation; and/or (iii) e-mail;

(c) you provide general consent and authority for the member to make decisions and transactions relating to any financial products and/or payment methods on the Grab app; and

(d) you are responsible for revoking the member’s access to the Family Account by removing the member’s account from your Family Account, in the event that you no longer wish for the member to have access to your Family Account.

6. In respect of Teen Members only, you represent, acknowledge and agree that:

(a) you, as his/her parent/guardian, consent a Teen Member to use the Grab app and participate in the Family Account;

(b) Grab is under no obligation to additionally seek consent from any other parent/guardian; and

(c) you will be unable to remove a Teen Member if the account has an outstanding payment.

7. For the purpose of the usage of and adding members to the Family Account, you represent and warrant that you have received consent or authority to share members’ personal information with Grab.

8. Grab’s Terms of Service and Grab’s Privacy Notice apply to these Family Account Terms of Service and you understand that any breach of these terms by you or any member of your Family Account may result in termination or suspension of the Family Account and/or your individual accounts.

9. In the event you and your members use the services in another jurisdiction, you acknowledge and agree that your acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Notice will also be considered as an acceptance to the terms and conditions and privacy notice that are relevant in that specific jurisdiction where you and your members use the services.

10. In the event that you remove a Teen Member from the Family Account and subject to Teen Member’s consent, you understand and accept that his/her access to the entire Grab account will be revoked, and upon removal,

(a) His/her Grab account will be deactivated in its entirety (including his/her reward points and transaction history); and

(b) His/her GrabPay Wallet account will be deactivated and closed. You understand and accept that upon deactivation of the GrabPay Wallet account, any remaining balance in the GrabPay Wallet can be cashed out by Teen Member, as an owner of the GrabPay Wallet account, or by you, as a Family Account Administrator, in accordance with your authorization, by contacting Grab and following the procedure specified by Grab.

11. Members of your Family Account will be able to use GrabFood/Mart/Other services, but:

(a) payment for these services may not be made from the Family Account;

(b) such transactions will not be visible to other members of the Family Account (including Family Account admin); and

(c) teen Members will not be able to purchase goods and services that are prohibited by applicable local regulations.

II – Terms of Service for Family Account Members

1. You accept responsibility for your activity while part of the Family Account.

2. Subject to Clause 7, as a member of the Family Account, you may request transport rides only. For such transport rides, the Shared Payment method by the Family Account admin will be the default payment method.

3. By joining the Family Account, you represent and warrant that

(a) you are major under the laws of Thailand; or

(b) If you are a minor under the laws of Thailand, you have received your guardian/parent’s consent (if required by applicable laws) to use the Grab app and participate in the Family Account.

4. If you are a Teen Member, you acknowledge, agree, and consent that:

(a) you authorize the Family Account admin to act on your behalf, including, upon removal of your account, cash out any remaining wallet balance from your deactivated GrabPay Wallet account by contacting Grab and following the procedure specified by Grab;

(b) Grab may contact your Family Account admin regarding your use of the Services, including any issues and/or incidents reported by you, Family Account admin, or driver-partner;

(c) Grab may contact you directly with or without your Family Account admin being present;

(d) your Family Account admin may monitor all of your activity related to transport rides, including order, location, messaging, etc.;

(e) your Family Account admin may revoke your access by removing you from the Family Account at any time. In the event that your access is revoked, upon removal:

(i) your Grab account will be deactivated in its entirety (including your reward points, and transaction history); and

(ii) subject to your consent, your GrabPay Wallet account will be deactivated and closed. Any remaining balance in your GrabPay Wallet can be cashed out by you, as an owner of the GrabPay Wallet account, or by your Family Account Admin in accordance with your authorization, by contacting Grab and following the procedure specified by Grab.

(f) Grab’s Audio Protect features will be automatically turned on for all Family Account rides you take; and

(g) during transit, Grab Driver-users and you will be able to message (and in some circumstances, call) each other using the Grab App. Your Family Account admin will have access to all in-app chat messages between you and Driver-User.

5. You agree and consent that Grab may notify any and all of your outstanding payments to the Family Account Administrator.

6. Grab’s Terms of Service and Grab’s Privacy Notice apply to you and to these Family Account Terms of Service and you understand that any breach of these terms by you may result in termination or suspension of the Family Account and/or your individual account.

7. Subject to Clause 7, all members of the Family Account will be able to see each other’s profiles.

8. Members of the Family Account will be able to use GrabFood/Mart/Other services, but:

(a) payment for these services may not be made from the Family Account;

III – Member’s Privacy Acknowledgement

By joining, you accept Family Account Terms of Service and agree that Grab can share your transaction, location, and trip information tagged to the Family Account with the admin.

IV – Partner’s Privacy Acknowledgement

You acknowledge and agree that both the Family Account Admin and Member will have access to your profile (Name, Photo, Car Plate Number, In-app chat messages and Live Location) to facilitate the fulfilment of Family Account Solutions.
