Bangkok, March 12^th, 2018 – Grab, a Southeast Asia’s leading on-demand transportation and mobile payments platform, recently provided a safe and comfortable round-trip transportation for underprivilege children to attend the Big Day Event: Saturday School Season 6.

As part of the Saturday School Program, the Big Day event was organized under the theme ‘Happily Educated’ with an aim to enhance children’s learning by tailoring activities to the way children learn best. The event was held on Saturdays to stimulate children’s creativity and broaden their perspectives. Grab provided a safe transportation for underprivilege students from 10 schools in Bangkok and vicinity to join the activity at The Bangkok Family Center, The Bangkok Children Discovery’s museum II (Thung Khru).

Over 600 participants onsite included students, volunteer teachers and honorable guests. Joining as one of the key speakers was Professor Dr. Chadchart Sittipunt, Thailand’s former Minister of Transport, who led the discussion on the challenges of the Thai education system. The event also included fun-filled activities as well as certificate presentation ceremony for students.
