Grab Financial Group has expanded its GrabPay Wallet service to further support the growth of cashless transactions in Thailand. In doing so, Grab Financial Group aims to deliver a more convenient service to driver-, delivery- and merchant-partners by providing more ways to use GrabPay, and to provide value for money and secure payment services to users within the Grab ecosystem. The latest expansion allows users to activate their GrabPay Wallets and top up through three leading banks: Kasikornbank, Siam Commercial Bank and Bank of Ayudhya.

Mr. Worachat Luxkanalode, Thailand Country Head of Grab Financial Group said, “Grab Financial Group has continued to enhance its GrabPay Wallet service in response to the cashless payment demand to elevate convenience and security for users in the Grab ecosystem, including driver-, delivery- and merchant-partners. Recently, we have partnered with three leading banks: Kasikornbank, Siam Commercial Bank and Bank of Ayudhya to enable easier top-up services for payment in the Grab’s ecosystem in our efforts to meet the needs of consumers looking to enjoy the convenience and the benefits of cashless payments, without the use of debit or credit cards.”

To enhance confidence and security in every transaction, customers of the three banks can verify their identity through the electronic Know-Your-Customer (e-KYC) feature via the Grab application. In addition, GrabPay Wallet users can enjoy a wide range of exclusive promotions, including the discount of up to 1,000 baht per month in every Grab service when entering the code WALLET from today to 31 December 2021.
