Grab Thailand Announces “GrabForGood Fund for Thais” Donating THB 8 Million to 12 Organizations to Mark Its 12th Year in Thailand

.

Grab Thailand continues its commitment to the GrabForGood mission by launching the “GrabForGood Fund for Thais,” aimed at supporting organizations that drive positive change and improve the quality of life for the Thai people. To mark its 12th year of operations in Thailand, Grab is providing an initial fund of over THB 8 million to 12 organizations. The fund addresses pressing societal issues and seeks to enhance lives through four core pillars under the T.H.A.I. framework: Talent – advancing education and capacity-building; Health – improving well-being and access to healthcare; Aid – providing disaster relief and crisis support; and Inclusion – supporting equality and vulnerable groups.

Chantsuda Thananitayaudom, Country Head of Grab Thailand, stated: “Over the past 12 years, Grab has remained true to our GrabForGood mission, which is to uplift the quality of life for people across Southeast Asia. This mission guides our business operations toward sustainable growth, balancing performance with social and environmental impact. In Thailand, beyond creating income opportunities through our platform and contributing to the country’s digital economy, we’ve launched various social and environmental initiatives to drive meaningful change. These include GrabEV, which promotes access to electric vehicles for drivers; GrabAcademy, which fosters learning and upskills for people within our ecosystem; GrabCampus, which supports youth development; and Carbon Offset, which expands green spaces and reduces emissions. We remain committed to continuing these efforts.”

“To reinforce our role as a responsible corporate citizen, this year we’ve established the ‘GrabForGood Fund for Thais’ to support organizations working to address societal challenges and contribute to national development. This spans areas such as education, healthcare, disaster response, and support for underserved communities,” she continued.

The GrabForGood Fund for Thais is designed to create long-term impact by supporting organizations and initiatives aligned with the four pillars of the T.H.A.I. social framework:

  • T: Talent – Promoting education and human potential, including scholarships for youth and skills development for the Thai workforce.
  • H: Health – Enhancing public health and improving access to medical care for all Thais.
  • A: Aid – Providing timely support during crises and disasters—such as natural calamities, disease outbreaks, and humanitarian impacts from conflict.
  • I: Inclusion – Supporting equality and improving the lives of marginalized groups, including persons with disabilities, the elderly, and those facing social or economic disadvantage.

“In commemoration of Grab Thailand’s 12th anniversary, we are donating over THB 8 million to 12 social organizations aligned with these four key pillars. Through this initiative, we hope to support Thai society in times of need and contribute to sustainable national development,” Chantsuda concluded.
