Grab Partners with TAT to Launch “Amazing Thailand Grab Travel Pass”

Grab Thailand, in partnership with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), has introduced the “Amazing Thailand Grab Travel Pass,” a value-for-money bundle of discounted vouchers designed for international tourists. The package offers over THB 3,000 in savings across transport, food, and shopping services on the Grab app. 

As part of this collaboration, Grab will continue to sponsor major events and cultural festivals, alongside promotional offers such as a 15% discount on ride-hailing services with the promo code “GRABFEST.” These efforts reflect Grab’s commitment to supporting Thailand’s tourism sector in 2026, in line with the “Amazing 5 Economy” strategy—particularly through digital platforms.

Thapanee Kiatphaibool, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), said, “TAT is committed to enhancing Thailand’s image as a high-quality global destination through the Platform Economy, leveraging technology to seamlessly connect the tourism ecosystem under the ‘Amazing 5 Economy’ strategy. This approach aims to stimulate year-round travel and distribute income across all segments of the tourism industry. As part of this effort, TAT has partnered with Grab, a leading ride-hailing and food delivery platform in Thailand, to bring this strategy to life—leveraging big data and digital technology to support tourist insights, strategic planning, and more effective tourism promotion.”

“One of the key highlights is the launch of the Amazing Thailand Grab Travel Pass, which specifically targets digital-savvy travelers, particularly tourists from China—one of TAT’s priority markets this year. In addition to promotion through Grab’s in-app and media channels, TAT is also driving awareness via its own online and offline channels, including airport media and on-ground activations at key tourist destinations.”

Chantsuda Thananitayaudom, Country Head of Grab Thailand, added, “Grab began piloting the ‘Grab Travel Pass,’ a one-stop discount package for international tourists, across seven Southeast Asian markets—Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, the Philippines, Cambodia, and Thailand—since mid-last year, to support tourism and enhance value for travelers across the region. In Thailand, the package has gained strong traction, with a 95% increase in subscriptions, particularly among tourists from China, South Korea, Singapore, and the United States.”

“Usage data also reveals interesting travel behavior, with more than 60% of subscribers redeeming discounts on mobility services, while over one-quarter utilized benefits across at least two services. This highlights the role of the Travel Pass in enabling tourists to explore destinations, enjoy Thai cuisine, and shop more conveniently.”

The “Amazing Thailand Grab Travel Pass,” priced at just THB 30, offers total savings of over THB 3,000 across transport, GrabFood, and GrabMart services. Valid for four weeks, the package provides the following benefits:

  • Travel: Up to 30% off ride-hailing services, including JustGrab, GrabCar, GrabCar Premium, and GrabExecutive; 20% off airport rides; and 25% off Advance Booking—making travel to popular destinations and events more convenient and reliable. 
  • Food: 10% off GrabFood and Self Pick-Up, plus 5% off Dine Out deals—encouraging tourists to explore Thai cuisine. 
  • Shopping: 15% off GrabMart—offering a convenient way to shop for daily essentials and souvenirs. 

In addition, Grab remains committed to supporting and promoting major events and cultural festivals that attract international visitors, through on-ground activations and seamless transport solutions nationwide. Travelers can also enjoy 15% off rides to event venues by using the promo code “GRABFEST,” enhancing convenience and affordability. The campaign kicks off with the Maha Songkran Festival at Benchakitti Park in Bangkok.
