Apps Terms of Service
Please read this Partner Apps Terms
of Service carefully. This Partner Apps Terms of Service is to be read together
with the Terms of Service (collectively, the “Terms of Service”). By using our
Service, in particular, the Partner Apps feature found on the Grab Platform,
you are deemed to have read, agreed and understood the terms and conditions of
our Terms of Service, which are applicable to you. If you do not agree to our
Terms of Service, please do not use or continue using our Platform or Service.
All defined terms not defined in
this Partner Apps Terms of Service, carry the same meaning as defined in the Terms of Service.
The Partner Apps feature on the Grab
Platform allows Partners to list, promote and/or sell products and services to
you (“Partner’s Services”).
- Grab is not the manufacturer, distributor,
provider or seller of Partner’s Services. Grab shall not be liable for any
loss, damages, claims, or expenses arising from Partner’s Services, or any
material or content made available by Partner via the Partner Apps
feature.
- Any issues arising from or related to the
Partner’s Services, including quality issues, shall be resolved directly
between you and the Partner.
- Your purchase and use of Partner’s
Services are subject to Partner’s applicable terms and policies.
- Payment for Partner’s Services through the
Partner Apps feature will be via your selected mode of payment in the Grab
App.
- Grab Rewards points (“Points”) shall be
awarded for Partner Apps transactions, subject to these Terms of Service
and the Terms of Service: Payment and Rewards.
- Points shall only be awarded for
transactions which are completed through the Partner Apps feature in the
Grab Application.Grab reserves the right to cancel or clawback any
Points issued to you by Grab for Partner
Apps transactions, if the transaction is subsequently cancelled, declined
or reversed.
- In the event that you use the Partner Apps
feature in another jurisdiction, you acknowledge and agree that your
acceptance of the Terms of Service and Privacy Notice will also be considered as
an acceptance to the terms and conditions and privacy notice that are
relevant in that specific jurisdiction where you use the Partner Apps
feature.
By accessing and using the Partner Apps feature via Grab
platform, you hereby consent to the exchange of the following categories of
data between Grab and its Partner(s), for the purposes described below:
- Personally Identifiable Information (“PII”): Your Grab username,
email address (where applicable), and phone number may be shared with our
Partner(s) for the purposes of:
(a) enabling and facilitating single sign-on (SSO) integration,
(b) enabling access to, and the fulfillment of, the Partner’s services,
(c) facilitating
account creation or matching on our Partner’s platform, which may involve
pre-filling registration forms or verifying existing accounts. You may be
required to take additional steps—such as accepting our Partner’s terms and
Privacy Notice, verifying contact details, or completing profile information—to
complete the account setup or enable access to our Partner’s services directly,
and
(d) disclosing any
modifications, updates, or corrections made to your PII associated with your
Grab user account at the time of checkout. Such disclosure shall be made solely
for the purpose of enabling our Partner to fulfill its obligations in connection
with the provision of goods and/or services purchased or requested by you.
- Location and
Sensor Data: For certain Partner services, the following data may be
shared as necessary to enable such services:
(a) geolocation data,
(b) Bluetooth signal data and/or device identifiers,
(c) images or video footage captured by your device camera showing the condition of the relevant goods or items before and after the booking or usage period,
This data may be used for authentication, unlocking / locking or activation / deactivation of goods, condition verification, and related logistical operations.
10. Service Support, Rewards and Benefits Administration:
Data (including identification information and interaction history) may be used
and shared for the purpose of administering, delivering, and managing any
rewards, loyalty programs, or benefits offered by Grab or its Partner(s),
including eligibility determination, redemption processing, and related
customer support.
11.
Analytical Data: Event
tracking and analytical data may be shared for purposes related to:
(a) trust and safety assurance,
(b) research,
(c) fraud detection and prevention, and
(d) product,
feature and platform improvement.
12.
Data for Service Optimisation:
(a) Data may be used to support your journey through the service, such as
sending reminders to check out items left in your shopping cart or to continue
unfinished actions.
(b) Data may be
used to present products or content tailored to your interests or the
preferences of users with similar behavior, helping make your experience more
relevant and engaging.
13. Any other reasonable purposes as
stated in the Grab Privacy Notice

We reserve the right to add, amend or
remove these Terms of Service at any time, without the need for prior notice.
If you do not agree to any of the changes, you must stop using our Platform and
Services. Please note that your continued use of our Platform and Services will
mean that you have agreed and consented to any changes to this Terms of
Service.
