City Managers – Cagayan de Oro and Iloilo
You will be in charge of strategic planning, implementation and execution of logistics and operations that will ensure efficiency and quality of the overall Grab business in your city.
Your job will regularly require you to step out of your comfort zone to resolve issues. You must be able to think fast, think well, and turn roadblocks into opportunities.
Among others, here are some things we look for in candidates:
- Fluency—You must be comfortable conversing with both passengers and drivers in English, Filipino and the city’s native language.
- Strategy—You are responsible for growing both the supply side (drivers and fleets) and the demand side (passengers) through acquisition, training, retention and loyalty strategies and programs.
- Analysis—You can make sense out of numbers and data to figure out which ideas work best, and which ideas we should continue or cut short.
- Relations— You are convincing. You can communicate effectively with drivers, car owners, and passengers. You are excited to hear about our partners’ feedback and you take care of GrabTaxi’s relationships. Above all, you follow through with your promises and deliver results.
- Support— You are the lifeline of our partners and drivers. You troubleshoot issues in real time.
- Love for your city— You love your city and you know it inside-out. You know where to get the cheapest siopao and the coldest beer. You know exactly how to make GrabTaxi work for your beloved city.
- Passion— You believe in GrabTaxi, you enjoy your job like crazy, and you’re committed to do your part—even if it means long, tough hours—to make sure that we come out on top!
Who You Are
Graduate of a four-year course, preferably with background in operations management, business management, sales or any related field.
Preferably 3-4 years work experience in operations and logistics, such as fleet/car rental management or the taxi industry
Strong analytical skills
