Partners With Disabilities since 2021, achieved the target to double our 2021 baseline one year early

In Indonesia, onboarding gear such as helmets and jackets are provided to Partners With Disabilities. This helps lower the barrier of entry to join the Grab platform.

Special commission structures — such as those implemented in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, and Cambodia — are designed for driver-partners officially recognised as PWDs by local regulatory bodies.

In Malaysia, Grab subsidises the full cost of the Public Service Vehicle (PSV) license for PWDs, a mandatory e-hailing license.

Lai Zhen Sheng, 37, has scoliosis and chronic lung disease. He joined Grab as a driver-partner in 2017, seeking flexible hours that accommodate his condition and provide a stable income for medical and household expenses. Connecting with passengers from diverse backgrounds has been an unexpected joy for him.
“With Grab, I finally found work that supports both my health and my livelihood.”
